A very ordinary maiden hurdle and another chance is given to WACKESTONE up in trip. He hasn't been progressing but clearly has the ability to win a race like this judged on his 2 placed efforts in juvenile events last season and goes in stronger headgear now. Santa Domingo is the clear danger on his hurdles debut.

Timeform Comments

Hidden Empire (FR)
Proved outpaced in Roscommon bumper on debut 3 weeks ago. Steps up markedly in trip now hurdling.
Santa Domingo (IRE)
Twice-raced on the Flat in September for Mark Cahill, running to a fairly useful level second occasion. Joined leading connections for switch to hurdles and one to note fitted with a tongue strap.
Seamy Appletart (IRE)
Mid-field in 2 bumpers having pulled hard. Needs to improve now going hurdling.
Teddy Jones (IRE)
Didn't show much in Roscommon bumper on debut earlier this month.
Wackestone (IRE)
Has been disappointing this year, including back on the level at Galway last month. 2 good placed efforts in 2m juvenile maiden hurdles last season make him the one to beat if back to anything like that sort of form now fitted with stronger headgear up in trip.
Wee Fallon (IRE)
Mid-field in a couple of academy hurdles last autumn for John McConnell and well beaten in Roscommon bumper for new yard earlier this month. Steps up in trip.
Lisnadill
Regressive maiden on the Flat. Cheekpieces go on for jumps debut and hard to fancy even though she's related to fairly useful hurdler (stayed 2½m) Lyric Street.
Oops A Daisy (IRE)
Well beaten in 2 bumpers and a maiden hurdle.
