Naoi (IRE)
Surpassed his 2025 form for P. Twomey when making a winning return in 14-runner handicap at Leopardstown (7f, good to firm) 9 days ago, despite being slowly into stride. Open to further improvement now up and running.
Flaming Rib (IRE)
Twenty runs since last win in 2023 and well below form in first-time visor at Naas (6f, good) earlier in the month so easy enough to look elsewhere.
Poweracclaim (IRE)
Yet to win but has slipped in the weights and confirmed return to form when third of 15 in handicap at Navan (6f, good to firm) 49 days ago. Merits consideration.
Four Blondes (IRE)
Has a poor strike rate and hasn't gone on from her promising reappearance over C&D in May, for all that she wasn't disgraced back here last week.
Lethimfly (IRE)
Showed plenty of ability remains when a good second on return at Dundalk in March. Has been decidedly below that level all 3 outings since, however.
Call The Cavalry (IRE)
Showed fair form in a pair of Dundalk maidens earlier in the year. Seemed unsuited by the drop to 5f there in April but ran poorly after 4 months off in 7f maiden a fortnight ago. Needs to get back on track on turf/handicap debut.
Rosato (IRE)
Twelve runs since last win in 2025 but quickly returned to form back down in grade fitted with first-time cheekpieces when second of 27 in handicap at this C&D (good) 7 days ago. Won't be far away if reproducing that.
Coincidental Glory (IRE)
Dundalk nursery winner in December and has been largely consistent without winning this year, finishing a respectable fourth of 27 over C&D last week. Should remain competitive.
Top Biller
Best effort of the year when runner-up to a subsequent winner at Yarmouth in April. Filled same spot in classified company at Lingfield 2 starts later but was no match for a revitalised one, and looks on a stiff mark on return to handicap company for new yard (left Julia & Shelley Birkett cheaply).
Apothic Red (IRE)
Produced a career best in a first-time visor when second of 12 in handicap at Sligo (6f, good to soft) 24 days ago, despite carrying head bit awkwardly. Nudged up 2 lb but likely to be on the premises again with a repeat.
Dervo Annie (IRE)
Built on her Fairyhouse success at the second attempt when runner-up in a big-field 7f handicap there last month. However, not quite in the same form on both starts since.
Tawaazon (IRE)
C&D winner who is still to get his head in front this season but shaped well from his further reduced mark when fifth of 19 in handicap at Naas (5f, good to firm) 6 days ago, first home in group. Well worth chancing to confirm the promise of that run.
Caffu Zafeen (IRE)
Maiden who didn't really fire in Britain for David Simcock last year and has made little impact in 4 starts for current yard from his reduced mark.
I'm Spartacus (IRE)
Multiple polytrack winner who justified support when gaining a belated first turf success at Fairyhouse (6f) in June. Has been well below that form since, albeit unsuited by the drop back to the minimum trip at Naas last week.
Simmering Seas (IRE)
Well backed and made promising start for in-form new yard when second of 12 in 5f handicap at Cork earlier in the month. Encouragingly backed up that effort when fourth of 19 at Naas 9 days later and could still have a bigger performance in her now fitted with first-time cheekpieces.
Strikepoint (IRE)
Has yet to progress from his debut but has a good pedigree and could well raise his game now switched to handicap company.
Fontaine Khaled (IRE)
Fared better with her sights lowered when third at Down Royal (7f) in May. The winner and runner-up franked that form but she hasn't fired on her 2 subsequent outings.
Another Nice'day (IRE)
Got off the mark from 6 lb out of the handicap in 10-runner event at Navan (5f) in July. Had an excuse when below that level at Naas next time and wasted no time getting back on track when fourth of 12 at Cork just under a fortnight ago.
Pure Valour (IRE)
Little promise in a handful of starts to date, lacking the pace to get involved tackling a sprint trip for the first time at this course (5f) on most recent outing. Tongue strap reapplied and has it all to do from 5 lb out of the weights.
