Not only does GLORYOUS arrive at the top of her game but she's also the clear pick on these terms, so this valuable seller looks hers for the taking. With Echalar having to prove his stamina for this far, Sudbury Hill heads the opposition.

Timeform Comments

Echalar (IRE)
Won 7f Wolverhampton handicap in January for Jane Chapple-Hyam. Mixed bag for new connections but he ran out a ready winner from his easing mark at Doncaster (1¼m) 2 weeks ago. Has to concede weight all round but he's a player if repeating that level upped in trip.
Gloryous (IRE)
Completed a turf double over 1¼m last summer and confirmed that she's as good as ever when off the mark for the season at Kempton on Wednesday (1½m). Very much the one to beat on these terms.
Lorca's Waltz
In top hands and, switched to turf after 5 months off (gelded), showed much-improved form in a first-time tongue strap when winning a Beverley maiden (7.5f) in June. Heavy defeat over 1¼m 3 weeks ago and he's now upped further in trip with cheekpieces on down in class.
Ohara
Decisive winner of a nursery at Pontefract (1m, heavy) at the end of last season and turned in a career-best effort when second of 4 in handicap at Chepstow (1½m, good to firm) in July. Failed to make much impact in better handicaps at Ascot since and this is a welcome drop in class.
Sudbury Hill (IRE)
Improved model for Harry Derham this year, making the most of a good opportunity over hurdles at Newton Abbot in June before showing a good attitude to go in again returned to the level fitted with cheekpieces at Salisbury. Didn't do a lot wrong back there last time, either.
Unchartedterritory (IRE)
Much improved when opening account in 9f Carlisle handicap (soft) in June. Reverted to free-going ways when sixth of 13 at Ayr (1¼m) 3 weeks ago. Engaged 2.20 Beverley Saturday.
Dunkeld Dreamer (IRE)
Took advantage of her weight-for-age allowance/contested pace when edging a tight finish in the Queen Mother's Cup at York in June. Finished off as well as any when close fourth of 5 at Hamilton (13f) next time before a rare lesser effort in a pretty competitive contest back on the Knavesmire.
Itica
Left debut form behind when runner-up in novice at Newcastle in November. Unable to repeat that both starts since 7 months apart, latterly on the back of breathing/gelding operations at Lingfield (1m). Significantly up in trip for turf debut.
