Timeform View

PIVOTAL VOYAGE makes appeal on paper (half-sister to a couple that won on debut) and has a handy draw for her racecourse bow. She could be worth chancing, with Eleven Eighty Two and Cheeky Chesca the pick of those with experience.

Timeform Comments

Cheeky Chesca (IRE)
Only narrowly beaten by a couple of southern raiders at Redcar/Wetherby earlier in the season. Back to form when 3¼ lengths third on belated nursery debut at Catterick (6f) last time. Considered back in a maiden, for all the draw could have been kinder.
Dawn's Gift
Cheap purchase for one that's half-sister to a smart sprinting juvenile. Hinted at ability when 7½ lengths sixth of 12 on debut at Doncaster (6.5f, 66/1). Drops to the minimum trip and is possibly a longer-term project.
Dorothea Hope (IRE)
Showed ability when 5½ lengths fourth over C&D first time up. Hasn't built on that in 2 subsequent starts but connections opt to have another crack at maiden company. Isn't totally dismissed from stall 1 with Jason Hart taking over. (Yard also saddles Cheeky Chesca).
Eleven Eighty Two (IRE)
Split a pair of subsequent winners at Carlisle before again filling the runner-up spot at Ripon last month. Dropped away tamely on nursery debut at Ripon (6f) latest start. Sets a fair standard on her form prior to that, and she's certainly worth a go over the minimum trip on return to a maiden.
Floral Maid (IRE)
Foaled April 18. €7,500 yearling, Calyx filly. Half-sister to 3 winners, including 1½m winner Wohileh and 2m winner Warrior King. Dam unraced half-sister to useful 9.4f-12.5f winner High Bridge. Likely to need time and distance.
Get On That Baby (IRE)
Foaled March 13. 12,000 gns yearling, Arizona filly. Dam maiden sister to German 2-y-o 1m winner and half-sister to useful German 8.5f winner Sibelius. Probably one for the longer term, unless the market suggests otherwise.
Last Dandelion
Ran up to her best when 2¾ lengths second of 6 in maiden at Brighton last week. She looks fairly exposed, however, this is hardly a deep contest.
Picnic Princess
Foaled February 22. 15,000 gns yearling, Ardad filly. Half-sister to 3 winners, including useful 7f winner Zip and 6f (including at 2 yrs) winner Valentine Catcher. Dam, 7.4f/1m winner. Stable has hit the frame with a couple of juvenile newcomers lately. Stall 12 isn't ideal for a debutant, though.
Pivotal Voyage (IRE)
Foaled March 20. Space Traveller filly. Half-sister to smart winner up to 1m Flashcard and winner up to 1m Look Back Smiling (both 6f winners on debut at 2). Dam unraced. Yard has had a couple of debutants run well this month. No surprise to see this one play a leading role in a weak maiden.
Pocket Change (IRE)
€3,000 Far Above filly. Finished 3¾ lengths last of 8 in a Musselburgh maiden on debut in late-April. She'll need to leave that form behind, though at least warrants a market check with owner saddling 3 in the race.
Purrista
Offered something to work on amidst greenness when 5½ lengths third over C&D debut here. Has been unfancied in the betting when well below that form both starts since.
Serenity Bay
Hasn't offered much in 3 starts, reported to have bled when trailing the field at Wolverhampton (7.2f) last time.
Suenicora Star
Showed more than on debut beaten 6¾ lengths at Thirsk (5f, 66/1). Nurseries/longer trips likely to prove more her bag.
