Timeform View

THANOS wasn't suited by a tactical affair when going for a hat-trick at Newbury and Harry Charlton's 3-y-o is fancied to resume winning ways with this bigger field likely to play more to his strengths. Revelance beat a few of these when winning over C&D last time so is the second choice ahead of Talis Evolvere.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

The Bureau Club traded at 10% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP on 2 of its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

Revelance
Denied a hat-trick only by a now-useful one at York last September. Looked rusty when all the rage in the betting at Kempton on reappearance before excuses at Ascot. Back on track when making all by length from Nakaaha over C&D last time and she can go well again.
Talis Evolvere (IRE)
Operating below his best at present but he took a step back in the right direction at Kempton 12 days ago and he's becoming well treated.
Nakaaha
Proved better than ever when smooth-travelling winner at Bath in early July. Confirmed that form at the second attempt (excuses at Newbury) when length second to Revelance over C&D 25 days ago and she's 3 lb better off with the winner here.
Kodi Fire (IRE)
Stepped up on his previous efforts this year to win over C&D last month and backed that up when second here following week. However, found run of good form coming to a halt at Sandown since.
Eutropia
Won 3 times in the spring and has posted good placed efforts on her last 3 outings, likely to have fared better had she been held onto for longer when 1¼ lengths third of 6 to Spirit of The Bay over C&D latest.
Spirit Of The Bay (IRE)
Quirky mare but she has been running well of late, winning over C&D before doing plenty wrong (very slowly away/pulled hard) when 1½ lengths third to Revelance back here 25 days ago. Capable of going well again but clearly has risks attached.
Auburn Avenue (IRE)
Belatedly off the mark over 7f here last month but that was only her third start for this yard and she wasn't seen to best effect when behind a few of these over C&D next time. A likely stronger pace will play more to her strengths here. Headgear back on.
Thanos
Much improved since headgear went on, easily winning at Lingfield (turf) and over C&D in May. Unable to complete a hat-trick at Newbury since but he had excuses and this bigger field should see him in a much better light.
Rating (IRE)
Produced her best effort for a while when registering a second success of the campaign over C&D 2 weeks ago but she's 4 lb higher in a much better race now.
Law Of Design (IRE)
On a losing sequence and he failed to meet expectations dropped markedly in grade when 2¾ lengths fifth to Rating over C&D 2 weeks ago. Change of headgear.
Moonhall Lass (IRE)
Had bit in hand when notching third win of the season at Leicester in June and she ended her time with James Owen with a decent fourth at Doncaster (subsequently sold from James Owen for 1,000gns). Set a stiff task by new connections here, however.
Too Much Trevor
Can be wayward (tends to hang) but has managed to win 3 times at this track this summer, including by a narrow margin over 7f 2 weeks ago. Opposable in this class of race from out of the handicap, however.
Redhot Whisper (IRE)
Finally got off the mark (at the 21st attempt) when reeling in The Bureau Club over C&D 3 weeks ago but hard to see him following up in much better race from out of the handicap.
Homeland
Underlined good start for new yard by justifying support to score at Ffos Las last month but he was unable to defy a 3 lb rise at Lingfield since and he looks up against it at this level from out of the handicap. Headgear back on.
The Bureau Club (FR)
Maiden who responded well to the change of tactics/first-time tongue strap when just failing to hold off Redhot Whisper over C&D 3 weeks ago but she's likely to find this too demanding from 5 lb out of the handicap.
Bobby Dassler (IRE)
Produced his best effort for some time when scoring over C&D in June but has shown very little since so easy to oppose from a long way out of the handicap.
Scarfo (IRE)
Generally held his form well since winning over C&D in June but he looks out of his depth from a long way out of the handicap here.
