Timeform View

A couple of 3-y-os make most appeal with FAEBERON taken to make a winning return to the all-weather at the expense of Saxophonist. Veteran Bearwith can see out the places, with Everyoneknowsadave another to consider.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Saxophonist traded at 10% or less of Betfair SP twice and 50% or less of Betfair SP on 3 of its last 5 starts: New Bay Star traded at 10% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP twice on 3 of its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

Everyoneknowsadave (IRE)
Confirmed more positive signs when opening his account for the season at Nottingham in July. Never figured behind those ridden more prominently when fourth of 5 at Ripon 4 weeks ago and better showing certainly not ruled out with stable turning a corner of late.
Bearwith
C&D winner who gained a second success of the season at Newcastle in July. 17/2, ran at least as well when length second of 8 to Ciao Capo at Beverley (1¼m, good) 19 days ago. Enters calculations.
Faeberon (IRE)
Much improved since sent handicapping, getting off the mark in first-time cheekpieces over 9.5f at Wolverhampton. Backed up that effort when 2½ lengths third of 13 to Pol Roger at Ayr (1¼m, good to firm, 22/1) 23 days ago. Makes the shortlist.
Saxophonist (IRE)
Winless from 10 starts though has gone close on last 2 outings at Doncaster and Haydock, unlucky not to collect on the latter occasion having been shuffled back at a crucial point. Can give another good account in this form.
New Bay Star (IRE)
Fair maiden who produced just about his best effort yet when losing out narrowly in a 4-runner Kempton maiden (11f) in January. Below form on first run since leaving Charlie Johnston when well held in maiden at Galway last month. Headgear's left off and market probably best guide on handicap debut.
Golspie (IRE)
Hasn't tasted success in sixteen runs but generally gives his running. Creditable third of 11 in handicap (4/1) at this course (11f) 25 days ago. Needs a couple of these to falter.
Pace Attack (IRE)
Stepped up on what he'd shown in 3 maidens when 2 lengths fourth of 10 to Prince Of Calypso on handicap debut at Wolverhampton (1½m, 11/1) 2 weeks ago, having every chance. Will be one to monitor in the betting.
Carwyn (IRE)
Showed ability in maidens in Ireland last year but hasn't fired in 4 starts for current yard this season.
