Market confidence behind nursery debutantes Lion of Persia and/or Naval Cop would put a different slant on things, however.

Steadily went the right way without threatening in a trio of 5f novice events during the first half of the season. Missed the break and ultimately finished well held on nursery debut at Nottingham (6f) in July but gelded ahead of this and handicapper has eased him 3 lb.
Crystal Kraken
Steadily progressive filly who finished runner-up on nursery debut at Thirsk in July and matched that form despite a very slow start when filling same spot in a C&D event 3 weeks ago. Shouldn't be long in going a place better on that evidence.
Our Fella (IRE)
Matched his best novice form when runner-up on nursery bow at Ffos Las (5f) in July. Struggled up in class next time and again not at best when finishing a couple of places behind Crystal Kraken when fourth in a C&D contest 3 weeks ago.
Lion Of Persia (IRE)
Son of Persian Force who fared better than previously when second of 10 on qualifying run in a Catterick novice (5f) 7 weeks ago. That form isn't the easiest to quantify but switch to nurseries in his favour now having been gelded since. Market can prove useful.
Naval Cop
Hails from talented sprinting family that connections know well. Showed plenty of speed without bettering previous efforts when 8¼ lengths fifth of 6 on qualifying run at Pontefract. Switches to a nursery and better expected given her pedigree/stable.
Devon Angel
Fared better than previously equipped with a tongue strap when third on nursery debut at Ffos Las (5f) in July but not in anything like the same form when sixth of 8 in a C&D nursery 3 weeks ago. Drop back to 5f may not suit ideally. Engaged 6.00 Windsor Saturday.
