Timeform View

Lightly-raced 3-y-o ESCAPE MAGIC can make it 2-2 over C&D. Ajrad is feared off a falling mark with Fullstop also of some interest.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Escape Magic traded at a low of 2.68 and Betfair SP of 2.97 when losing last time, a race in which it raced in mid-field.

Timeform Comments

Margorie
Much improved when off the mark at third attempt in 6f Windsor novice in September. Well below that form this year, beaten 3 lengths on first try in this grade at Salisbury latest (later disqualified after her rider weighed in 2 lb light). More established jockey in the plate this time.
Nammos
Made a winning debut for current yard at Bath (good) in May. Raced freely from the widest stall when well-beaten favourite at Ffos Las (1m) latest. Return to 7f could see her in a better light, though softer ground would be an unknown.
Ajrad
Quirky 3-time C&D winner. Ran one of this season’s better races when beaten 2½ lengths over 1m here last time. That performance can be marked up, and he's well treated if putting his best foot forward.
Prince Ali
Resumed winning ways here (1m) in June and backed it up when second in a course classified event. Should be competitive on the back of a forgivable effort in an all-weather handicap last time.
Escape Magic
Lightly-raced filly who made it 2-2 in handicaps with a ½-length success over C&D last month. Continued in good heart when 3¼ lengths third of 6 on first start against her elders at Salisbury latest. Can resume winning ways if handling softer ground than previously faced.
Fullstop (IRE)
Maiden has gone backwards since a fairly solid start in handicaps. Good-value claimer now takes over, though, and he's worth a market check dropped in grade on first start against his elders.
Ashford Hill
Back to form when only beaten ¾-length in her bid for a third Lingfield success (all-weather) last time. Yet to prove as effective on turf, though.
Blue Point Express (IRE)
Off the mark in this grade over C&D (soft) in September. Ran one of her better recent races when 3¼ lengths fourth in a Ffos Las classified event latest. More needed back in a handicap but will act on the ground.
Pacific Prince
Has little solid form. Off since badly hampered/unseating at Brighton in early-June.
Aplaceinthesun
Low-mileage filly. More encouragement when fourth on stable debut (her fourth trainer in the space of 12 months) at Ffos Las (6f) last month. Worth another go over this trip having been poorly placed following a slow start at Lingfield subsequently. Inexperienced 7-lb apprentice takes over.
Snow Day
Lightly-raced 3-y-o who achieved little at long odds to date. Does at least benefit from talented apprentice taking over.
