Timeform View

COSMIC MYSTERY ran to a fairly useful level when bumping into a subsequent winner at Nottingham early last month and having been out of her depth at listed level since, Archie Watson's filly is expected to take some catching. Delighfully Hot, Kokumi and Sioux Moon all ran at Chepstow just under a fortnight ago and they look the main threats in that order.

Timeform Comments

Beautiful Effort
Improved dropped to the minimum trip for her nursery debut when second of 9 at Lingfield (5f) 18 days ago, nailed late in the piece but certainly not lacking for finishing effort. Not discounted back in maiden company.
Chiwara (IRE)
Sands of Mali filly who found only the standard-setter too good in maiden at Ripon on debut in June. Went backwards from that when last of 6 in similar event at Nottingham (6f, good) the following month and she's been absent since.
Cosmic Mystery
Expensive breeze-up buy who built on a promising debut when 1-length second of 5 at Nottingham early last month, possibly paying the price for doing too much in the lead. Well held upped to listed level at Newbury 17 days ago but fancied to make her presence felt in maiden company.
Delighfully Hot
Runner-up twice last month, showing fair form when narrowly denied at Sandown on second occasion. Probably wasn't seen to best effect when fourth of 8 in maiden at Chepstow (5f, good) just under a fortnight ago (went solo on far rail) and she remains with potential.
Estupenda (IRE)
Sioux Nation filly who raced closer to pace than ideal and shaped better than the distance beaten suggested when fifth of 8 in maiden over C&D on debut back in April. Given time to strengthen up and she seems sure to do better at some stage.
Kokumi (FR)
Much improved from debut when second of 8 in maiden at Chepstow (5f, good) just under a fortnight ago, collared close home by a newcomer. Likely to progress further, she's shortlisted.
Quiet Soul (IRE)
Held up in a strongly-run race when 33/1 second over C&D on debut. Well beaten all 3 starts since, including when switched to a low-grade nursery at Hamilton last month. Has since left Michael Dods.
Sayidah Dubawi (IRE)
Foaled May 8. €120,000 yearling, Night of Thunder filly. Dam, runner-up at 6f/7f at 2 yrs, half-sister to smart 7f winner Spectre. Betting can guide expectations.
Sioux Moon
Attracted support having shown promise on debut but was only fifth of 8 in maiden at Chepstow (5f, good) just under a fortnight ago. Should find that further aiding her development and she remains open to improvement.
Viking Barbie (IRE)
Got back on track switched to a nursery when third of 9 at Lingfield (5f) 18 days ago, needing no excuses having dictated. Each-way claims back in maiden company.
