Timeform View

CODED WELDER has been leaving his backers disappointed but this looks a great opportunity for him to open his account judged on his form in handicaps. Majestic Horizon is the obvious danger, with Ritz Plan having a bit to prove.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Coded Welder traded at a low of 5.50 and Betfair SP of 4.90 when losing last time, a race in which it raced in mid-field.

Timeform Comments

Tribal Moon (IRE)
Fairly useful Flat winner. Out of sorts under both codes and work to do on these terms even in a weak maiden back up in trip.
Coded Welder (IRE)
Has been strong in the betting on all 4 runs for new yard this season, running to a fair level in handicap hurdles before an underwhelming debut over fences at Tramore. This is a weak maiden and he must surely be a big player under good conditional.
Fortis Et Liber
Runner up once from 5 starts in points but has achieved little in 2 runs in maiden hurdles (beaten 31 lengths here in July, failed to complete at Tramore). Significantly up in trip now.
Fuusland (IRE)
Unseated at the first hurdle on debut. Completed when fourth of 9 behind Fortis Et Liber here (2¼m) 7 weeks ago, though was tailed off and looked far from a natural.
Majestic Horizon (IRE)
€45,000 3-y-o by Wings of Eagles. Half-brother to dual bumper winner/smart 2m hurdle winner Dark Raven. Successful sole start in point. Improved from Rules debut when third in a bumper here in late-May. This could be a good opening for his first go over hurdles.
Salty Racer (IRE)
Getaway brother to dual bumper winner Getaway Vic, and half-brother to fairly useful hurdler/chaser Lightkeeper (19f-21f winner, by Walk In The Park). Dam (c133/h120), 17f-2½m hurdle/chase winner (stayed 4m). Remote fourth in a point and always behind on hurdles debut at Ballinrobe 3 weeks ago.
Tommy Go Maith (IRE)
No promise. Visor now tried.
Jolly D'olivate (FR)
Winning pointer but with a patchy overall record between the flags and well held in 4 maiden hurdles this summer.
Six Mile Suzy (IRE)
Tailed off in 2 bumpers and Down Royal maiden hurdle. Tongue tied back from 7 months off.
Ritz Plan (IRE)
Consistent in academy hurdles last winter, finishing second of 14 at Naas on final start for Joseph O'Brien. It's been a rather underwhelming start in maiden hurdles for new yard this summer, however. Steps up in trip with cheekpieces on now.
