Timeform View

Having finally got off the mark in July, HIGHLAND HARVEY has continued in good nick and given he was a shade better than the result when third over C&D last week, he looks ready to go in again. There is depth to this low-grade contest, though, with Clipsham Noble and La Trinite expected to be involved.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Fitzmaurice has traded at 50% or less of Betfair SP twice on its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

Gretna Dreams (IRE)
Back-to-back winner last summer and hasn't had much luck in recent weeks, hampered early at Epsom. This represents a slight drop in class.
Bug Boy (IRE)
Hasn't stood much racing in recent times and increasingly held back by very slow starts.
Foinix
Got off the mark for the year in last-gasp fashion in a 1½m classified event on the all-weather last month. Ridden differently when not in quite the same form 2 weeks ago and has slightly more on his plate back in a handicap.
Highland Harvey (IRE)
Has held his form well since coming to Britain, finally shedding the maiden tag in an 11.5f classified event at Yarmouth in July. Good placed efforts since (left with a lot to do over C&D last week) and he's an obvious contender.
Clipsham Noble (IRE)
Twice a winner at Leicester this season for his new yard, latest in 6-runner handicap in July. Shaped as though still in good form at that venue 3 weeks ago and another bold bid is forthcoming.
La Trinite
Ended time with Mike Murphy under a cloud but has been placed on all 3 starts for this yard, respectable third of 7 in handicap at Beverley (1½m, good) 35 days ago given she was slowly away. Should give it another good go.
Fitzmaurice (IRE)
Winless in 15 starts and while a runner-up effort in classified company here 3 weeks ago was one of his better recent efforts, he's opposable back in a handicap trying this trip for the first time.
Winston's Oath (IRE)
Failed to beat a rival in 3 quick Flat starts this summer. In good hands and worth a market check handicapping from a low base with blinkers fitted.
