Timeform View

YES I'M MALI is 1 lb lower than when narrowly denied in a higher grade at Thirsk on Friday so a bold bid looks assured if showing up in similar form. Spirit of Applause is another who arrives on the back of a recent near miss and is second choice ahead of Kind Touch, a still unexposed 3-y-o who returns to the track where he made a winning debut a year ago.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Spirit Of Applause traded at 10% or less of Betfair SP and 25% or less of Betfair SP twice on 3 of its last 5 starts: Another Investment traded at 25% or less of Betfair SP twice and 50% or less of Betfair SP on 3 of its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

Yes I'm Mali
Has taken his form up a notch for this stable, winning at Thirsk (6f, good) in April. Went very close to another Thirsk success (6f, good again) last Friday and he holds leading claims here off 1 lb lower.
Top Juggler (IRE)
Latest win at Chester in July. Respectable seventh of 12 in handicap at Hamilton (6f, good to firm) since.
Kind Touch (IRE)
Made a winning debut over 5f here last August. Made a positive start to his handicap career in June (including seventh of 22 in strong 3-y-o only race at York) and perhaps simply wasn't suited by Chester when only fourth at Chester in July. Freshened up since. Could resume his progression now.
Reigning Profit (IRE)
Benefited from a more positive ride when getting off the mark for the season over 5f here in July but 3 lesser runs have followed. Needs a return to Ripon to spark a revival.
Arduis Invicta (IRE)
Dual 5f winner in 2025 and went closest to adding to her tally this season when runner-up at Musselburgh (5f) in June. Made the frame at York (6f) next time but well held at Goodwood since.
Charlie Mason
Resumed winning ways at Lingfield (6f) in June but 3 below-par runs have followed. A bounce back is needed.
Anaisa
C&D listed winner this time last year but has rarely threatened since, including down the field in C&D handicap latest. Spirit of Applause is the more obvious of the stable's pair.
Secret Guest
Runner-up at Southwell in January but more miss than hit since. Below-form fourth of 10 in handicap at Newmarket (6f, good, 13/2) 17 days ago, unable to sustain effort.
Another Investment (IRE)
Returned to form when runner-up 3 times this summer but his run of good efforts came to a halt when only sixth at Carlisle 3 weeks ago.
Spirit Of Applause
Mostly creditable efforts in defeat this year, looking unlucky (met trouble) when just failing to get up at Redcar (6f, good) 10 days ago. Should go well again.
