Timeform View

KNOWLEDGE has disappointed on turf since making a winning debut on the all-weather but is worth another chance off a tempting mark back on this surface. Variety Act is potentially a big threat given his trainer's excellent record with handicap debutants.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Variety Act traded at 10% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP on 2 of its last 3 starts.

Timeform Comments

Booziebrunch (IRE)
Won a race that fell apart at Newmarket and was undone by his revised mark on both starts since.
Knowledge
Pulled clear with a useful sort when making a winning start in Southwell novice in January. Has struggled on turf since, racing freely in first-time headgear at Windsor latest, but has eased to a tempting mark ahead of his return to all-weather. Visor replaces cheekpieces.
Lucky Luna (IRE)
Off the mark in maiden on heavy going at Salisbury but was never nearer when mid-field on her handicap bow at Southwell, though shaping as if this longer distance will suit.
Silken Bay (IRE)
Much sharper with her debut under her belt when winning a Southwell maiden in April but has looked a difficult ride since (often pulls hard).
Variety Act (GER)
Showed promise in 2 of his 3 qualifying runs in the winter and looks the type to take off in handicaps over further now given his trainer.
Lux Aeterna
Much improved to get off the mark over C&D on handicap debut on return in March. Hasn't gone on since, however, and headgear is now applied.
