Timeform View

SHEIK YERBOUTI was well held on his handicap bow at Ffos Las 3 weeks ago but his maiden third over C&D is strong form for this level so he's worth another chance back at this venue. The Fixer and Henery Hawk head the dangers.

Timeform Comments

Master Dandy (IRE)
C&D winner who figures off a fair mark and was a respectable fifth here (6f) 6 weeks ago. Subsequently sold from Michael Keady for 3,000 gns.
The Fixer (IRE)
Scored for the first time in 3 years over C&D in June. Always behind under a penalty here next time but he was quickly back on track when close fourth at Ffos Las on Friday.
Henery Hawk
Multiple all-weather winner, latest over C&D in March. Mixed record since but he was better than the bare result at Ayr 3 weeks ago.
Sheik Yerbouti
Tailed off first 2 starts but ran much his best race at huge odds dropped to 5f when third over C&D on qualifying run. That form has worked out well but he was well held on his handicap bow at Ffos Las 3 weeks ago. Worth another chance back at this C&D.
She's A Gift
Long-standing maiden but latest second over C&D was a career best so she's not taken lightly in a first-time tongue strap.
Ballsgrove Boy
Successful twice on the all-weather last season, including over 6f here in July, but he lost his form afterwards and showed little starting out for this yard at Yarmouth on belated return despite attracting support. Headgear back on.
Doralee
Won a classified event at Redcar for the second successive season 24 days ago but she's 0-19 in handicaps.
Macanudo (IRE)
Stepped up markedly on comeback when 2 lengths third (weakening when snatched up) off much-reduced mark at Nottingham but he failed by a long way to back that up at Chepstow following month and headgear goes back on.
Global Effort (IRE)
Has persistent settling issues, pulling too hard in classified events on his last 4 starts. Tongue strap now tried but he's easy to oppose.
