Timeform View

GOEASYONME was unfancied on debut but shaped with enough promise to suggest he is capable of landing an ordinary maiden, and this looks just such an opportunity. Combs is respected on the pick of his efforts last season and can pose the main threat, while Texas Red is fancied to be in the mix for minor honours once again.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Goeasyonme traded at a low of 25.00 and Betfair SP of 800.00 when losing last time, a race in which it raced towards the rear and travelled strongly early on.

Timeform Comments

Bud Fox (IRE)
Made a promising start in bumpers and has shown ability on both starts over hurdles, though a tendency to finish weakly was again evident when fifth of 15 to Magico in a Killarney maiden last time, beaten 21 lengths.
Combs (IRE)
Fairly useful sort ran a cracker when third in listed handicap in December but failed to build on that in 3 subsequent outings. Respected back in maiden company after 150-day break but vulnerable to less-exposed sorts.
Goeasyonme (FR)
Montmartre gelding who belied huge odds when 3¼ lengths second of 13 to Clay Pigeons in maiden hurdle at Roscommon. Showed signs of inexperience on that occasion so can be expected to build on that now.
Jack Spriggins (IRE)
Make Believe gelding who showed fair form at up to 1¼m on the Flat for Johnny Murtagh in 2024. However, off 2 years ahead of this stable/hurdles debut and likely best watched.
Joly Saphir (FR)
Castle Du Berlais gelding, who looked badly in need of the experience when well beaten in maiden hurdle on belated debut.
Texas Red (FR)
In frame in maiden hurdles on last 2 starts, 5 lengths third of 15 to Be My Fortune at Ballinrobe on latest. Likely needs to step up on those efforts if he's to achieve anything more than minor honours again, though.
Unfortunatecharlie (IRE)
Fourth foal: half-brother to a point winner: dam (c127/h129) 2¼m-2¾m hurdle/chase winner: Off mark in points at fourth attempt last time (May 2).
Lucky Signal (FR)
Attracted support but showed only greenness in a Leopardstown bumper on debut/sole outing for Eoin Griffin in March and looked likely to finish last of 13 when slipping up in similar event at Killarney on debut for this yard in May. Significant improvement needed now hurdling. Wears first-time hood.
Mydreamtell
No better than mid-field maiden hurdles at Ballinrobe and Downpatrick and will likely come into his own once tackling handicaps over longer trips.
Telegram Sam (IRE)
Pulled up sole start in points but showed ability when 13½ lengths fourth of 11 to A Stoirin in bumper at Ballinrobe on Rules debut. Switch to hurdling will suit on pedigree but it's over longer trips that he's likely to thrive.
Inver Bay (IRE)
Stepped up on previous efforts and on debut for this yard when 10¾ lengths fifth of 11 to Luciole Des Bordes in C&D maiden in July. This requires more, though.
Jukebox Jolene (IRE)
Is bred to stay well and has shaped in kind in 2 maidens at around this trip. Will need time, distance and presumably handicaps before becoming of interest.
Asthelightdeclines (IRE)
Hails from a good yard but has looked very much a handicap project on all 3 hurdling starts to date and is best treated as such unless the market suddenly suggests otherwise.
Cahir Bay (IRE)
Well held in a handful of maidens on the Flat. Makes hurdling debut.
