Timeform View

ROKANAKO proved himself fairly useful in bumpers and made a positive start for this yard at Killarney last month. He is taken to make a successful hurdling debut. Splendid Fellow and It's All Clear rate the principal dangers.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Splendid Fellow traded at a low of 4.90 and Betfair SP of 5.13 when losing last time, a race in which it led.

Timeform Comments

Coral Reid (IRE)
Ran with promise when midfield in novice hurdle (125/1) at Roscommon (2½m, good to soft) on NH debut 30 days ago, not knocked about. Likely to improve but is bred for stiffer tests than this.
Eternal Reward (IRE)
No impact on debut in April of last year and similar story on hurdles bow at Galway 36 days ago.
It's All Clear (IRE)
Fair performer in bumpers and ran to a similar level both starts in this sphere, latest when creditable third of 20 in novice hurdle over shorter trip at Cork 55 days ago. Ought to give another good account.
Rokanako (IRE)
Left debut form behind when winning 10-runner bumper at this course in May and back to that sort of form when good second of 9 in bumper at Killarney (2m, good to soft) 12 days ago. Must be of interest on switch to hurdling.
Splendid Fellow (IRE)
Best effort thus far came when runner-up at Cork last winter and again found only 1 too good in novice hurdle at Killarney (2½m) when last seen in May. Likely contender.
Bigcitydreams (IRE)
€1,000 3-y-o, Kingston Hill mare. Half-sister to 3 winners, including fair hurdler/fairly useful chaser On A Promise and fair hurdler Neon Diamond. Pulled up sole start in points and looks yard's second-string here.
Western Shores (IRE)
Signs of ability when fifth in maiden hurdles at the start of the summer. Yet to really progress from those events, however, and others make more appeal here.
La Muleta (FR)
€29,000 3-y-o, Bathyrhon filly. Half-sister to a point winner. Dam unraced sister to French hurdler/chaser (2¼m-2¾m winner) Ventura Highway and half-sister to multiple chase winner abroad Northerly Wind. Runner-up sole start in points and is worth monitoring in the market on Rules debut.
