Timeform View

None of these can be ruled out but the upwardly-mobile HOSEKI didn't enjoy the rub of the green when a very good fourth at Ascot last time and is fancied to quickly resume winning ways. Gemma Tutty's Star Cast seems sure to go well in her bid for a remarkable seventh success of 2026, while Polygram and Hollywell Stream are other in-form fillies who can also play a prominent role here.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Hoseki traded at a low of 3.00 and Betfair SP of 3.04 when losing last time, a race in which it raced behind.

Timeform Comments

Lady Roisia
Daughter of an Oaks winner and got off the mark at Nottingham last October. Progressed again on return when third in listed race at Newbury (1½m) in May. Found Lancashire Oaks at Newmarket (1½m, firm) in July too tough an ask but remains with potential on her handicap debut.
Miss Tonnerre (IRE)
Fairly useful mare who ran poorly on her Kempton reappearance in May and but her stable's good form at present provides hope for better this time after another layoff.
Hoseki (IRE)
Progressive Saxon Warrior filly who completed a hat-trick at Ascot (1½m) in July. Off 5 lb higher when posting a very good fourth of 10 in handicap there (1½m, good to firm) 26 days ago given she was set too much to do. Remains one to be interested in.
Star Cast
On the go since the turn of the year and gained a superb sixth win of 2026 in 1m2f Ayr handicap in June. Resumed from 8-week break with a good second of 13 in handicap there (1¼m, good) 24 days ago. A player once more.
Hollywell Stream (IRE)
Lope De Vega filly took a big step forward to get off the mark at the fifth attempt in 4-runner handicap at Newmarket (1¼m, good to firm) last month. Up 5 lb but not out of things.
Polygram
In fine form of late and gained a second success in her last 3 runs in 9-runner handicap at Hamilton (9f, good) 13 days ago. Showed a good attitude there and should remain competitive despite 3 lb weights rise.
Geo (IRE)
Tough and consistent and ran well again in refitted cheekpieces (retained) when fourth of 13 in handicap at Ayr (1¼m, good to firm) 26 days ago. 3 lb out of the handicap here, though.
