Timeform View

KAMAWAY was below form at Sandown last time but had been progressive prior to that blip, and she is taken to bounce back at a track where she has already won this year. Lucky Camino is another with more to offer and rates the chief threat ahead of Zgharta, who also needs to bounce back from a poor effort but is on a handy mark for a yard in form.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Zgharta has traded at 50% or less of Betfair SP twice on its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

Redbud Sixteen (IRE)
Continued theme of progression when easily getting off the mark at Salisbury (1¼m) in June before following up with a 6-length success at Newbury (11f) 9 days later. Came unstuck in higher grade at Doncaster in July and needs to resume progress to feature.
Zgharta (IRE)
Only has a maiden success to her name but has run some good races in defeat. Didn't have much luck on first 3 starts this year but ran no sort of race when appearing to have plenty in her favour last time. Yard still going well, though, so obvious claims if able to bounce back.
Aleatrix
Study of Man filly who comfortably saw off the favourite when winning 7-runner maiden at Salisbury (1¼m) on debut in June. Sent off 1/3 but unable to concede 7 lb to a promising newcomer at Newmarket (1¼m, good to firm) in July but it remains early days.
Lucky Camino (IRE)
Gelded before landing 5-runner handicap at Hamilton (1m, good to firm) in July and shaped better than result suggests when 4½ lengths third of 9 to Victory Ace at Kempton last time. Longer trip shouldn't be an issue on pedigree and very much one to consider.
Chapter (IRE)
Blinkered for first time when scoring at Sandown in June and backed it up with good second of 4 in handicap at Wolverhampton following month. Effort best excused last time after slow start and should be thereabouts if able to produce his best.
Leonardo Blu
Confirmed debut promise when winning a Nottingham maiden (1m) in May (form has been boosted since) but raced freely when fourth of 11 in novice at Windsor next time and didn't appear to benefit from step up to extended 11f last time. This test should suit better but improvement likely required.
Kamaway
Made a positive start to life in turf handicaps, winning at Yarmouth in May and at this course in June. Never travelling when disappointing at Sandown in July, but that very much has the look of a blip and she's fancied to bounce back returned to this venue.
