Made it 3 wins from his last 4 Flat starts when scoring at Chepstow last August but not in much form over hurdles or on the level since. Stable switch (left Jennie Candlish) needs to have had positive effect.
Tarbat Ness
Landed a third success of the season at Carlisle in July by 8½ lengths from Laravie and got back on track when third of 6 in handicap at Newmarket (2m, good to firm) 20 days ago. Doesn't look to have much scope from this handicap mark but arrives into a thin race in decent form.

Looked to be going the wrong way for present yard last year and offered nothing after a 13-month absence when last of 9 in handicap at Hamilton (9f, good, 250/1) 13 days ago. Significantly up in trip.

Finally found a chunk of improvement with a first-time visor applied when winning a 9-runner handicap at Lingfield (2m, all-weather) 59 days ago. Stamina is clearly his strong suit and he should prove very tough to beat after 9 lb rise.
