Timeform View

HUWA BAREE knew his job when making a winning start at Lingfield last month and with improvement on the cards quickly upped to 1m, Charlie Johnston's colt gets the vote to remain unbeaten at the expense of Peaberry, who forced the all-the-way winner to work close home at Wolverhampton recently and remains with potential. Celtic Storm and Lunar Blossom can fight out third.

Timeform Comments

Huwa Baree (USA)
Saxon Warrior colt who knew his job and knuckled down well to make a winning start in 11-runner maiden at Lingfield (7f) just over 3 weeks ago. Will be suited by this step up to 1m and is open to improvement. Looks the one to beat under a penalty.
Arlecchino's Moon
Down the field in a couple of 7f all-weather novices this summer. May show more now stepped up to 1m but makes little appeal this side of nurseries.
Celtic Storm (FR)
Texas colt who had a very a considerate introduction when fifth of 12 in maiden at this course (7f) on debut 25 days ago. Open to improvement.
Kiril
Dream Ahead gelding who showed only greenness when eighth of 12 in maiden at this course (7f) on debut 25 days ago.
Peaberry
Ran to a similar level as on debut when second of 12 in novice at Wolverhampton (7f) 17 days ago, clear of remainder. Open to improvement stepped up to 1m.
Phantom Knight (GER)
Japan colt who looked badly in need of the experience when last of 8 in maiden at Southwell (1m) on debut last month. Needs to leave that bare form well behind here.
Rogue Crusader
Foaled April 10. Persian King colt. Dam, 2-y-o 7f winner, half-sister to 1m-10.2f winner Angel Power and winner up to 1¾m The Reverend (both smart). Market check advised.
Shorien (IRE)
Foaled April 22. Palace Pier colt. Half-brother to several winners, including smart 6f-9.7f winner Excel Power and useful winner up to 7f Caspian Queen. Dam of little account. Yard's record this season with 2-y-o debutants: 6-29 at time of writing.
Tarn Hows
Foaled March 30. Stradivarius gelding. Half-brother to several winners, including 5f-6f winner Accrual and 5f winner Seneca Chief. Dam 2-y-o 6f winner. Yard's first 2-y-o runner of the season.
Rock Show
Foaled April 3. 16,000 gns yearling, Showcasing colt. Half-brother to 1m winner Cuban Girl and 2-y-o 7f winner Tavana. Dam, 2-y-o 7f winner, half-sister to smart 6f/7f winner Dandy Boy.
Tojoannie
Calyx filly who was hooded for her debut and proved very green when ninth of 12 in maiden at this course (7f) 25 days ago.
Lunar Blossom (IRE)
Showed much more than on debut albeit still green when fourth of 10 in maiden at Lingfield (7f) last month. Will be suited by this step up to 1m but it could be nurseries where she comes into her own.
