A winner in points since last seen under Rules in Ireland, DEPALMA is clearly a fascinating runner for the Dan Skelton yard (bought for £20,000 in May) and could well be worth chancing to immediately repay some of the investment on just his second start over fences. Harrys Hope is evidently on a good mark and feared for all her weak finishing tendencies remain a cause for concern. The consistent Ridin Solo can also feature on his first crack at 3m.

Harrys Hope (IRE)
Five-time winner over fences at up to 3m who travelled notably well with first-time cheekpieces applied and briefly looked in control only to be collared on the run-in at Worcester (23f) 16 days ago. Clearly handicapped to win but weak-finishing tendencies remain something of a concern.
Post Chaise (IRE)
9-y-o with a good strike rate over fences, adding to his tally at Ludlow in February of last year. Cheekpieces on when finding only a less exposed sort too strong back at that venue (3m) next time but absent 18 months ahead of this and market likely best guide as to expectations.
Ridin Solo (IRE)
Gained reward for consistency when taking Sedgefield maiden hurdle in February 2025. Lightly raced and in the frame all 3 starts over fences since, off 7 months prior to finishing second at Uttoxeter (2½m) in June. Looks worth a try at this longer trip on that evidence and one to consider.
Back In The Bay (IRE)
Tasted success twice at up to 2½m over hurdles last summer. Showed aptitude for chasing without building sufficiently on her reappearance when fifth at Uttoxeter in July and right back to form when second over hurdles at Worcester (23f) latest. Unexposed at 3m reverting to fences. Cheekpieces go on.
Depalma (IRE)
Ex-Irish gelding who showed fair form at best over hurdles in 2024. Went through the motions thereafter for Colm A. Murphy but winner in points since last seen under Rules and clearly very interesting on debut for top yard (bought for £20,000 in May) tackling a longer trip in refitted cheekpieces.
Limerick Leader (FR)
Hurdles/chase winner who made a positive start for this yard when just denied at Southwell on return in June. Has failed to kick on, though possibly found his stamina stretched when fourth over 3¼m at Newton Abbot 2 weeks ago. Tongue strap reapplied now and others more appealing.
Royal Time (IRE)
Mixed record in Ireland for Shane Crawley but not handicapped out of things on stable debut (bought for £11,000 in May) and worth noting if the market spoke in his favour.
Bahtiyar (FR)
Long-standing maiden who added another placed effort to his CV when second at Plumpton in May but not in anything like the same form at Warwick/Stratford since. Goes back up in trip now with questions to answer from long way out of the weights.
