ROSATO wasn't at her best last time but has twice gone close off similar marks already this season and, with 2 successes at this course to her name, she looks worth chancing to come good in an open sprint. Irish Rumour arrives on the back of an encouraging effort and looks the biggest danger from a handy mark, whilst both course-specialist Step Back In Time and the in-form Simmering Seas are also feared.

Stepped up on recent stable debut and took a step back in right direction when 3½ lengths fifth of 14 to Collective Power in handicap at Dundalk in 2025. Has a good record when fresh and must be respected if attracting support now dropping into 0-60 company for the first time in a while.
Irish Rumour (IRE)
Turned in best effort of the season when ½-length third of 27 to Clonmacash in 6f handicap at the Curragh last time. On a good mark if able to build on that performance.
Rosato (IRE)
Ran well fitted with first-time cheekpieces when second of 27 in handicap at the Curragh last month. Wasn't in the same form at same track 7 days later, but has now dropped below her last winning mark and must be considered having twice won at this course in the past.
Surpass And Shine (IRE)
Successful twice over 5f last year, but has gone with little encouragement since, including on both outings this year. Has been given a chance by the handicapper and drops significantly in grade here, so any market support should be noted.
Asdana (IRE)
Yet to properly fire this year, though wasn't seen to best effect when 4¾ lengths ninth of 21 to Happy Henry at Navan last time. Visor back on.
Lethimfly (IRE)
Showed plenty of ability remains when a good second on return at Dundalk in March. Has been decidedly below that level all 4 outings since, though, including on debut for current yard.
Simmering Seas (IRE)
In frame last 3 starts, producing best effort when 1¼ lengths second of 19 to Apothic Red at the Curragh on latest. Entitled to be firmly in the mix again.
Steel Magnolia (IRE)
Proved better than ever when winning 5f handicap at Naas in August by 3¾ lengths from Whatswrongnow. A 10 lb rise makes life tougher, though.
One Cool Bear (IRE)
Made a promising start to the turf season at Naas but no encouragement to be gleaned from any of his last 3 starts.
Glen Breeze (IRE)
Confirmed previous promise without looking the easiest ride when winning 14-runner handicap at Limerick (7f, good to firm) in July. Shaped better than the distance beaten suggests when 4 lengths ninth of 14 to Phoenix Pairc at Roscommon last time. Tongue strap back on.
Caffu Zafeen (IRE)
Maiden who didn't really fire in Britain for David Simcock last year and has made little impact in 5 starts for current yard despite tumbling in the weights.
Cleopatra Dream
Down the field all 3 starts in maidens at Dundalk. Dropped to 5f for handicap debut.
Monastere
Made all in similar company at Fairyhouse (6f) in July. Not in same heart both starts since, slowly into stride at Down Royal latest.
Ballysax Lil' Mick (IRE)
Won at Tipperary last year. Yet to fire this season but has now dropped below last winning mark.
Step Back In Time (IRE)
Successful 4 times at Navan, including 3 times in 2025. Best effort this year when 1¼ lengths third of 15 to Dandy Land at Naas last month. Failed to back that up at same course last time but must be respected back at this venue off career-low mark.
Kidd (IRE)
Behind all 3 starts in maidens. Makes handicap debut.
The Love Machine (IRE)
Navan winner last autumn but has yet to really fire for this yard in 2026.
Jackandthefox (IRE)
Long-standing maiden who posted some respectable efforts earlier in the summer but seemed unsuited by the drop back to this trip at Naas last time.
Lismacbryan (IRE)
Did win a handicap in 2024 but very little to shout about since.
