Timeform View

Plenty of strong contenders from the leading yards, with MY SHAYLA getting the vote having lost out on the nod to one who got first run at Leopardstown recently. Joyous Heart, Flower Forest and Nautic Star are prominent among the dangers.

Timeform Comments

Amazing Force (IRE)
Dandy Man half-sister to smart 1m/8.3f winner Thunder Run. Cost 130,000 gns as a yearling but proved far too free and was well beaten on debut at Chelmsford (7f) for James Tate in March 2025. Sold for just 1,000 gns soon after.
Colpe Cross
Showed fair form in a trio of maidens at up to 1½m last summer. Drops in trip back from 13 months off.
Almost Okay (IRE)
Gregorian filly. Half-sister to 3 winners, including 2-y-o 5f winner Prince of Cool and 2-y-o 6.3f winner Mary The Priest.
Apple Sponge (IRE)
Inns of Court filly. Half-sister to 3 winners, including winner up to 9f Swift Salian and 9f winner Ras Al Qimmah.
Dandymaria (IRE)
Back on track when third of 15 in maiden at Roscommon (7.5f, good, 80/1) 18 days ago. Could have a race in her on that showing.
Divine Legend (IRE)
Looks to have plenty of ability and shaped well after 4 months off when second in front of Dandymaria at Roscommon (7.5f, 22/1), only just failing to peg back one that had enjoyed the run of things having been forced deep on the track. Can progress further.
Elmakaya (IRE)
Continues to shape up well, proving one paced when beaten 2 lengths by Manton Bay (second in the Irish Cambridgeshire since) at Killarney (1m) a fortnight ago. Might benefit from further but she's a leading contender here in first-time tongue tie/refitted cheekpieces.
Emberelle (IRE)
€6,000 foal, £6,000 yearling, City Light filly. Closely related to 7f/1m winner Coefficiente and half-sister to 13f-2m winner Surrey Belle. Dam useful French 1½m winner. Colin Keane up but looks vulnerable to a number with experience.
Flower Forest (IRE)
Siyouni filly from an excellent Coolmore family. Made a promising start at Cork in April but failed to justify support 5 months on at Roscommon (7.5f), still looking green. Clearly thought capable of better and worth sticking with.
Jolie Cailin (IRE)
Showed ability on her debut at Gowran (1m) in May, well positioned in a steadily-run race.
Joyous Heart (IRE)
Siyouni filly who cost €400,000 as a yearling. Didn't progress from her promising debut in a sales race at Deauville (7f) in August 2025, pulling hard on all-weather when last seen in November. Has joined a top yard and worth another chance with that debut form reading well.
Lady In The Gods
Well held in Gowran maiden/Cork novice (showed a bit more).
Little Sure Shot (IRE)
Has run to a fair level in maidens at up to 7f. Longer trip should suit but she'd be better off in a handicap.
Lookingforarainbow (USA)
Showed plenty in 3 races at 2 yrs, travelling better than most in a first-time tongue strap in 7f listed contest at Dundalk when last seen in October. Remains with potential.
Moll's Gap (IRE)
€10,000 yearling, Make Believe filly. Half-sister to several winners, including useful 10.2f-14.5f winner Rhythmic Intent and 1m winner Labyrinth. Appealing pedigree but might need this.
My Shayla (IRE)
Much improved from debut when going down on the nod in 1m Leopardstown maiden a fortnight ago, travelling well with the winner getting first run in the straight. More to come and a key player.
Nautic Star (IRE)
Has made the places on all 4 starts this season, going down fighting having been sent off favourite in maiden at Naas (1m) 5 weeks ago. Clearly up to winning a race like this.
The Black Lodge (IRE)
€3,500 yearling, Inns of Court filly. Half-sister to several winners, including 6f winner Captain Vallo and 7f winner Above It All.
Ballysax Boo
300/1, well held in 1m Gowran maiden on debut 6 weeks ago. Plenty of stamina in her pedigree and probably one for later on. RESERVE.
Susie's Angel (IRE)
Offered something to work on in 7f Galway maiden (16/1) on debut 5 weeks ago. Looks one for the longer term. RESERVE.
Zarenakarena (IRE)
Little impact in maidens, proving too free at the Curragh (1¼m) a fortnight ago. RESERVE.
