Timeform View

Not the easiest race to assess but it could prove worth siding with LADY KODIAC who returns to an artificial surface after a break on a lenient-looking mark and can bag a third all-weather victory. Dark Angel Light has an absence to overcome but remains unexposed starting out for Julie Camacho and could emerge as the chief threat ahead of Ormolulu.

Timeform Comments

Lady Kodiac (IRE)
Landed a couple of 6f novices at Chelmsford last autumn. Advanced her form when second in handicap at Southwell (6f) in June but not at her best on turf when fifth of 8 at Newmarket (6f, good to firm) following month. Freshened up since and remains of interest back on all-weather.
Persian Spirit (IRE)
Lightly-raced sort but a dual 6f winner for Richard Hannon. Returns after 12 months off here for another good yard so can't be totally dismissed, especially if the market vibes are positive.
Anaisa
Landed Ripon listed event last summer. Has rarely threatened since, however, and tried under more positive tactics when seventh of 10 in handicap at Ripon (6f, good to soft) 4 days ago. Tapeta debutant.
Dark Angel Light (IRE)
Dark Angel filly stepped forward markedly from debut to land 8-runner novice at Doncaster (6f, firm) in June on final run for Jack Channon. Remains with potential now going handicapping for another good yard.
Ormolulu (IRE)
Fifteen runs since her last win in 2025 but not discredited with fifth of 8 in handicap at Carlisle (6f, firm) in July. This slow starter needs things to drop right but now figures on a handy mark so can't be ruled out.
Maldevious (IRE)
Gained a deserved breakthrough win at Thirsk (6f) in August but only fifth of 8 off 7 lb higher at Carlisle (6f, good to firm) since. Remains on a career-high mark here.
Zarinca
Gained a first win in maiden at Southwell (6f) in April but not proving easy to catch right in handicaps since, just seventh of 11 there (1m) 30 days ago. Blinkers go on for the first time here.
