Timeform View

ROYAL RHYTHM had plenty to spare at Worcester and a 9 lb rise may not stop him if able to string 2 decent efforts together. Jefe Triunfo could pose a threat if recapturing the form he showed in these refitted cheekpieces last autumn, while Clever Relation may benefit from the longer trip.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Royal Rhythm traded at a high of 6.80 and Betfair SP of 7.20 when winning last time, a race in which it led and travelled strongly early on.

Timeform Comments

Royal Rhythm (IRE)
Ended a long losing run in dominant fashion at Worcester 18 days ago. His overall record suggests he's no good thing to be in a similar mood but a 9 lb rise may not stop him if he is.
Atreides (IRE)
Won back-to-back small-field handicap chase contests last December. Some creditable efforts over fences this summer but ran poorly returned to hurdles last time.
Jefe Triunfo (FR)
Bumper/maiden hurdle winner who is well handicapped on the form he showed at a similar time last year and it's possible a 3-month break will have had a reviving effect. Also has cheekpieces refitted.
County Champs (IRE)
Maiden who placed in 4 of 5 starts in Irish handicap hurdles (all around 3m) for Brian M. McMahon last year but pulled up on his return from 8 months off for new stable at Worcester a fortnight ago. Needs to have come on a lot in a short time.
Clever Relation
Fair Flat winner for Hughie Morrison. Has yet to better modest form over hurdles but it's still fairly early days, particularly for this yard. It's possible this longer trip will suit.
Kings Order (IRE)
Uninspiring form over hurdles and has fared little better in 3 handicap chases this summer. Can only watch back hurdling.
