Useful sort. Off since winning a conditions event on all-weather at Deauville a year ago but has gone well fresh before and it'll be interesting to see what the betting makes of him with the yard going well.
Northern Express (IRE)
Likeable sort who enhanced his fine record here when ending long losing run over C&D in July. Backed that up with a fine third in the Summer Cup at Thirsk (1m, good) 5 weeks ago. Has to enter calculations from the same mark.
Bobby Bennu (IRE)
Shaped well from a poor draw at Chester on reappearance and good second of 14 at Newcastle 4 weeks later. Underperformed at Glorious Goodwood since but he's capable of bouncing back.
Power Fizz (IRE)
Progressed in the early stages of last year and defied a 10-month absence in good style at Newcastle in March. Failed to make an impact after receiving an early bump there on next start in June and had excuses when posted wide throughout at Chester last month. No surprise to see a return to form.
Houquetot (IRE)
Useful performer in France for Christopher Head. Matched that in 2 outings for David O'Meara over the winter and made the frame from a falling mark at Newmarket in July. Handicapper has given him further help.
Great Dream
Well backed and fitted with first-time cheekpieces when comfortably landing Ffos Las handicap (7f, soft) on final of 3 starts for William Haggas in June. Not in same form at Southwell for new yard last time after a 12 lb rise and the percentage call is he remains vulnerable from this mark.
Khafiz (IRE)
Dual 7f novice winner for Roger Varian but went the wrong way for Ed Bethell before making frame on first 2 starts for this yard. Seemed unsuited by drop back to sprinting when down the field at Ripon last time. Returns to 7f and not out of it on old form after another drop in the weights.
Utmost Good Faith
Ex-Irish gelding who scored 3 times (at 7f/1m) for George Boughey this year, signing off with success at Epsom in July. Finished well held both starts for this yard. Hood replaces eyeshields and may need more time before this stable find the key with him.
Humam (IRE)
Successful over C&D on final start for Andrew Balding last summer. Winless for current yard though placed twice this season, latest in Newmarket handicap on penultimate start last month. Possibly found race coming too soon when last of 8 at Newbury just a week later. Mark hasn't moved.
Mr Noble (IRE)
Yet to finish out of the first 3 and has stepped up since handicapping, finishing second in 3-y-o C&D handicap in July before winning at Southwell (7f) the following month by 1¾ lengths from Haaderr, responding well. Unexposed and should go well again.
Our Havana
Ended 2025 in a lull and edged back down the weights as a result. On the back of a breathing operation, landed 20-runner C&D handicap on reapperance in June. Has run poorly both starts since, though, and now tries a first-time visor.
U Sure Do (IRE)
Dual winner last term who resumed his progress when narrowly taking 6f handicap at Ripon in May. Failed to get competitive in a higher grade when ninth of 13 in handicap at Chester (7.6f, good) 15 days ago though didn't get the clearest of runs. Others preferred.
Woohoo (IRE)
Scored at Musselburgh in April and has been knocking ever since, finding only one too good on each of her last 6 starts, latest in competitive C&D handicap last month. Should continue to give a good account.
First Time (IRE)
Won a 6f Newmarket maiden last summer for Harry Charlton. Largely proved consistent this season, emerging with credit when third of 9 in handicap at Doncaster (firm) in July. Below form there last time and needs to bounce back.
Quest For Fun
A regular over C&D who's been placed twice here this season, including on latest run when ¾-length third of 18 to Jonny Concrete in July. Back up in grade and each-way claims again.
