Timeform View

OCASTLE DES MOTTES got back on track when second here 38 days ago and can put his experience to good use, though Ndaawi, Daydream Nation and Captain Ryan Matt all look interesting recruits to this sphere.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

William Tell traded at 25% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP twice on 3 of its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

Captain Ryan Matt (IRE)
Much improved when notching second hurdles success at Tramore on New Year's Day and he backed that up when fourth of 21 at the Aintree Festival. Needs considering on chase bow.
Daydream Nation (IRE)
Point winner who made a winning handicap debut in hurdle at Leopardstown in March. Good third at Fairyhouse next time but not in same form at Punchestown Festival final start. Down in trip for chase bow but looks the type who will improve again over fences.
Ndaawi
Flat/hurdles winner. Awarded the Galway Hurdle last season but not in same form in this year's renewal. However, is the best of these over hurdles so obvious claims if taking to this sphere at the first attempt.
Ocastle Des Mottes (FR)
Useful hurdler who matched that form on his chasing debut when runner-up in a Punchestown maiden in November 2024. Lightly raced since but was a back-to-form second in maiden here (23f) in late July and he sets the standard.
Polepatrick (IRE)
Improved markedly from his hurdling debut when successful in a Tramore maiden in April. However, disappointed next time and has since left Henry de Bromhead. Makes chase debut.
William Tell (IRE)
Dual winning hurdler who was a promising second on chase debut at Wexford in June. Mixed record since, however, with his jumping proving a let down.
Feet On The Ground (IRE)
Long-standing maiden for Fergal O'Brien and she's firmly up against it on yard debut.
Mongibello
Bumper winner who doubled her tally over hurdles at Perth in April 2025 but she's been off the track since.
