Timeform View

CASTLEHEATH isn't the most straightforward but he was unlucky to bump into one at the Galway Festival on his comeback 5 weeks ago and a repeat of that effort would give him every chance. Pure Gold and Just Dottie both have good records here and they head the dangers.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Castleheath traded at 25% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP on 2 of its last 4 starts.

Timeform Comments

Castleheath (IRE)
Didn't impress with attitude on all 3 outings over hurdles last season but he returned with an excellent second of 17 at the Galway Festival, benefiting from a return to more positive tactics and finding only a highly progressive rival too good. Big shout if backing that up.
Scriabin (FR)
Off the mark in a C&D maiden in July but found his run of good form coming to a halt back in a handicap here next time. Type to bounce back.
Nobotheratall (IRE)
Showed more like his winning bumper form reverted to front-running tactics when landing 2m Kelso novice hurdle in May. Good second under a penalty at Hexham next time but was found out in a deeper novice at Market Rasen. Back down in trip on handicap bow.
Try Them (IRE)
Returned to the pick of his juvenile form on first run since leaving Emmet Mullins when second in C&D maiden and backed that up when going one better here last month. Opening mark demands extra but he could have more to offer yet.
Inappropriate (IRE)
Dual hurdles winner who has proved as good as ever back on the Flat for new yard. Below par last time but he's potentially on a good mark making hurdles debut for current yard.
Pure Gold
In top form when winning 3 times (also second in this) from 4 starts between July and October last year, including a smooth C&D success. Much more like it when third here (2½m) 8 weeks ago before having excuses next time. Considered.
Just Dottie
Four-time C&D winner who disappointed back on the Flat and over a longer trip here last 2 starts but she can't be dismissed now 5 lb below her last winning mark and with a first-time tongue strap applied.
Elemental Eye
In good form on the Flat this summer (easy to forgive latest start on heavy going) and shaped as if he weas being brought along with handicaps in mind in 3 starts over hurdles last winter. Better expected now.
