Timeform View

DOWN AROUND benefited from the step up to a staying trip at Ballinrobe and can double his tally for Gordon Elliott now returned to a staying trip. Theirshegoes went best for a long way at Uttoxeter last time and is respected with that form having been franked, whilst C'Mon So is still lightly raced in handicaps and could have more to offer.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Theirshegoes traded at a low of 4.00 and Betfair SP of 12.59 when losing last time, a race in which it raced prominently and travelled strongly early on.

Timeform Comments

Down Around (IRE)
Just his second start for Gordon Elliott when winning a 7-runner handicap hurdle at Ballinrobe (3¼m) last month and ran respectably despite seeming unsuited by the step down in trip when fourth of 10 in handicap hurdle at Downpatrick (2¾m, good) 7 days ago. Leading player.
Midnight Moonshine (IRE)
Yet to fire this summer over hurdles and fences, below form sixth of 16 in handicap chase at Roscommon (25f, good to soft) 34 days ago. Switches from chase to hurdles. First run for yard after leaving William Harvey.
Sauce Of Life (IRE)
Very lightly raced for his age but he showed some ability remains after another 8-month absence when fifth of 10 in handicap hurdle (25/1) at Uttoxeter (23f, good to soft) 86 days ago. His task is now to build on that after a quicker turnaround than he is used to.
Dalileo (IRE)
Back-to-back C&D winner in July and though he wasn't entirely disgraced in form terms, he seemed anchored by his mark when seventh of 11 in handicap hurdle (6/1) at this C&D (good to firm) 23 days ago. Can give a good account without posing serious threat to principals.
Theirshegoes (IRE)
Came close to ending a lengthy losing run when second of 10 in handicap hurdle at Uttoxeter (23f, good) 54 days ago, travelling strongly. Winner of that race has progressed again since and she merits consideration.
Le Grand Vert (FR)
Nearly bagged a third chase win of the year at Cartmel in late-June but hasn't ever looked as effective over hurdles despite a lower mark and others are preferred kept to this sphere 10 days after finishing mid-field at Down Royal.
C'mon So (IRE)
Ex-Irish pointer (placed) shaped better than previously on just his second handicap outing when 6 lengths fourth of 10 to Dalileo in handicap hurdle at this C&D (good) 67 days ago. Could sharpen up for that experience and merits consideration.
Burgundy Man (FR)
Made a successful chasing debut on testing ground here October. Has gone the wrong way since and was pulled up on return to hurdling over C&D 3 weeks ago.
