Timeform View

If TEN SIXTY SIX is in the same form as when narrowly denied at Ripon last Monday she may prove the answer to this 3-y-o handicap. Billy Loughnane's mount Miss Mambo is another who went close last time and she's second choice ahead of Ernie McCrew, who should benefit from the slight drop back in trip.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Ernie Mccrew traded at 10% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP on 2 of its last 5 starts: Claytons Kolatonic traded at 10% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP on 2 of its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

Tago Mago (USA)
Sold cheaply following a promising debut for Jamie Osborne last autumn and has been well beaten on all 4 outings for this yard, including handicaps last twice. Has first-time blinkers added to tongue tie. Could only consider if backed.
Miss Mambo (IRE)
9/2, good second of 10 in handicap at Southwell (1m) 32 days ago, running on. Bold show likely with Loughnane taking over in the saddle now.
Yazoo
Lightly-raced maiden. Best effort when fourth of 6 in maiden at Windsor (5f, good to firm) 35 days ago. Significantly up in trip for handicap debut. Hasn't looked entirely straightforward.
Rajendra
Has failed to improve for the switch to handicaps on last 3 outings, finishing tailed off over 14.5f at Doncaster last time. It remains to be seen whether the significant drop back in trip makes any difference.
Call Alert
Thrice-raced maiden. Improved when fourth of 5 in maiden at Lingfield (7f, good to firm) 37 days ago. Up in trip for handicap debut.
Claytons Kolatonic
Latest sixth of 12 in C&D handicap was a creditable effort and being eased a further 3 lb could help him to get more competitive.
Ten Sixty Six (IRE)
Had a few chances but last Monday's near miss in a Ripon classified race shows she's in good form and another bold bid seems likely under Danny Tudhope.
Ernie Mccrew (IRE)
Best effort in handicaps when second of 7 over 1m at Lingfield (all-weather) last month. Shaped as if just stretched by 1¼m in a classified race there since. Considered back at shorter.
Marveling
Modest form in 6 outings for Robert Sangster and new connections picked her up for only 1,600 gns in July.
Fenay Bridge (IRE)
Beaten 9 lengths or more in 3 maiden/novice events in February/March but more realistic chance now switching to a low-grade handicap. Worth a second look in the betting.
Crown The Future (IRE)
Course winner. 9/2, respectable fifth of 10 in classified event at Lingfield (7f, all-weather) 20 days ago. Back up in trip. Looks competitive on form.
Lordsbridge Bay
Some promise in maidens but rather gone backwards since, looking a hard ride latest. Blinkers off, hood back on.
Nautical Sky
Runner-up on C&D handicap debut for James Ferguson in March. Hasn't come close to reproducing that since but it's still very early days with this excellent yard.
