OVER SPICED is able to race off 2 lb lower than when best of the rest behind a progressive 3-y-o over C&D at the recent Celebration Mile meeting and should take a bit of stopping if in similar form. Spring Bloom has shown his recent good form over 6f at Newmarket but a near miss over C&D in the spring shows he's effective over shorter and he's second choice ahead of Jax Edge.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Nogo's Dream could be expected to race prominently. Of those in the front half of the betting forecast, Jax Edge might be well positioned in a slowly run affair: Of the better-fancied horses, Over Spiced is most likely to be ridden furthest from the pace.

Opened turf account at Yarmouth in May and back in good form of late, including third of 6 at Chester (5f, good) 17 days ago, left poorly placed after his jockey overdid the waiting tactics.
Spring Bloom
Enhanced good Newmarket record with a pair of 6f wins in July. Remained in form with pair of in-frame efforts there since and he was a close second over this C&D in May. Has to enter calculations.
Nogo's Dream
Quirky sort but had been running well until weakening to finish last of 6 at Brighton last time. Ryan Moore has won on him before but others are still more persuasive.
Independent Expert (IRE)
Scored over 7f at Naas for Denis Hogan in March but has yet to scale same heights for new yard. Hard to fancy.
Over Spiced
Scored at Bath in May and has placed on 5 of her last 6 outings, finishing second (Kiss And Run third) of 9 over C&D on latest. Able to race off 2 lb lower here so obvious shout with Oisin Murphy taking the reins.
Kiss And Run
Recent C&D third respectable but Over Spiced was ahead in second and her losing run dates back to a C&D success in August 2024.
