Timeform View

METHGAL has made a positive start for his current trainer, successful at Windsor last month and runner-up on his other 2 outings, so he is taken to resume winning ways. He can see off the challenge of Battenburg Belle, who boasts a strong record at this course, while Giant is another arriving on the back of a win last time out.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Daytona Lady traded at 10% or less of Betfair SP twice on its last 5 starts: Neapolitan traded at 25% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP twice on 3 of its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

Daytona Lady (IRE)
Ended a long losing run at Wolverhampton in April and returned to a similar level when going close over this C&D last month. However, she hasn't always been the most consistent and was well held at Southwell 12 days ago.
Giant
Took advantage of his reduced mark when landing 16-runner contest at Brighton 16 days ago, the runner-up scoring next time. Remains well treated on old form so he commands respect.
Miss Rainbow (IRE)
Resumed winning ways at Thirsk (5f) in June and added to her tally over this C&D early last month. Was forced wide from the outside draw when well held here 22 days ago, so she could fare better this time around.
Methgal (IRE)
Dropped to 6f with blinkers reapplied, doubled his tally on second start for current yard at Windsor last month. Ran at least as well when second at Yarmouth 9 days ago and he can make another bold bid in his current form.
Taygar (IRE)
Runner-up 4 times this season but her run of good form has came to a halt the last twice, though was left poorly placed when down the field at Redcar 17 days ago. On a handy mark if bouncing back.
Ottawa
Gained a first success in handicap at Southwell in December. Has struggled for form this year, though, down the field both starts since joining current yard.
Neapolitan (FR)
Sole success came back on second career start when trained by Simon & Ed Crisford. In first-time blinkers, raced up with the strong pace when sixth of 13 in handicap at Newcastle in November, but has been off 10 months since. Now switches to a visor.
Hares Bredth
Found some improvement when winning handicap at Redcar in June and similar form when a close third at Carlisle 20 days ago. Can give another good account.
Battenburg Belle (IRE)
Off the mark over this C&D in June and proved better than ever when also winning 5-runner event here 13 days ago. Placed on other 2 visits to this track and she can remain competitive.
Wait For It (IRE)
Remains a maiden but has made the frame 4 times this season, including when beaten only a neck over C&D in July. Is best excused the effort when last of 14 at Newcastle (6f) 19 days ago, denied a clear run from 2f out. NON RUNNER.
