SCOTTISH DANCER is worth another chance from his current mark based on his Flat exploits earlier in the year, so he earns the tentative vote. Seahouses is sure to be in the thick of the action if picking up where he left off in the spring, while Fine Print also enters calculations on the back of a good run at Ballinrobe.

Timeform Comments

Hillview (IRE)
Veteran who was useful earlier in his career but has offered little promise since returning from a long absence, shaping as if amiss at Uttoxeter on penultimate outing and always behind at Stratford last time.
Present Fair (IRE)
C&D winner last summer who looked and shaped as though in need of the run after 11 months off at Cartmel in July. Should strip fitter here.
Camino Rocio (IRE)
A 5-time chase winner (at up to 3m) for the Jim & Suzi Best yard in 2024/25. Disappointed under Rules last season and fared no better on first outing for the Skeltons having been snapped up after a spell in points at Worcester 16 days ago. Reverts to hurdles now with something to prove.
Scottish Dancer (IRE)
Lost his way in 2025 but returned to form with cheekpieces fitted for current yard, winning on the Flat at Thirsk (1¾m) in May before runner-up at Ripon (2m). Continued his good spell with a respectable third over hurdles at Worcester and was unsuited by the drop in trip on his latest Flat start.
Seahouses
Largely reliable type around Market Rasen and again ran creditably away from that venue when third in 10-runner 3¼m handicap at Stratford on most recent outing in April. Likely to be thereabouts if picking up where he left off.
You Did (IRE)
Dual winner over hurdles towards the end of 2025 but has disappointed since, including over fences of late.
Fine Print (IRE)
Made more impact than previously in this sphere upped in trip when third in 16-runner handicap at Ballinrobe (2¾m, good) 15 days ago. Has a 4 lb higher mark to contend with but in the mix with a repeat.
Fane Court (IRE)
Winning Irish pointer who went even closer than previously to opening his account under Rules when close second in 6-runner handicap hurdle at Worcester (23f) in July, edged out on line. That form has taken a few knocks since, though.
