Timeform View

The opener can go the way of AURA OF MELANIA, who was beaten only by one who has scored again since over this C&D on her latest outing. Cheeky Chesca finished a place behind the selection that day and could be the main danger this time around, ahead of Moriarty Moon.

Timeform Comments

Moriarty Moon
Looked in need of the experience in his qualifying runs and was slowly away when fifth of 6 in nursery at Ripon 6 weeks ago. However, the form from last time has been working out well, so he could yet do better with visor added.
Mick's The Boy (IRE)
Best effort when chasing home subsequent Group 2-winner Arapaho Gold in a Thirsk novice in July. Had excuses (stumbled and met trouble) when fifth of 9 in maiden at Ayr last time, so this run should reveal more with visor on for nursery debut.
Aura Of Melania
Has taken her form up a notch dropped back to 6f the last twice, bumping into a well-backed class dropper when second of 6 in nursery over this C&D 22 days ago. Could be ready to go one better with tongue strap fitted.
Spectacular Diver (IRE)
Returned to something like his debut form when third in a Beverley novice (5f) on first outing last month. However, shaped as if amiss when well held in nursery at Musselburgh 2 weeks ago. Bounce back called for up in distance.
Cheeky Chesca (IRE)
Got back on track making nursery debut when third over C&D on penultimate start. Switched to blinkers, again ran well when filling the same position in 13-runner maiden at Beverley (5f) 9 days ago and she can make her presence felt.
Lady Titania
Hasn't offered much in her 3 starts so far, fifth of 6 in novice at Chester (5f) 17 days ago. She's in good hands, though, as she goes back up in trip for nursery debut. Tongue strap back on.
Johns Power
Showed more than on first 2 starts when fourth of 10 in novice at this course (5f) in July but hasn't backed that up in 2 nurseries since, failing to beat a rival in 11-runner contest at Newcastle (6f) last week.
Steamy Wonder
Had the run of the race when second of 10 in maiden at Lingfield (7f) last month and failed to repeat that effort when down the field at Wolverhampton 22 days ago. Makes nursery/turf debut with blinkers applied back down in trip.
