Timeform View

Preference is for NOBLE EXHIBIT, who made a promising debut when third at the Curragh and can step forward from that effort as he goes up in trip. He gets the vote ahead of stablemate City of Gold with Aidan O'Brien bidding for a fifth consecutive win in this race, while Leadlight was only edged out last time and could be thereabouts once more.

Timeform Comments

Aladdin's Cave (IRE)
Foaled April 7. Camelot colt. Half-brother to several winners, including smart winner up to 1m Raqiya (2-y-o 6f winner) and useful 2-y-o 6f winner Ribhi. Dam unraced. Makes plenty of appeal on paper for yard with excellent record in this race.
Battle Ready (IRE)
Much improved from his first outing when never-nearer fifth of 14 in maiden at Leopardstown (7f) 19 days ago. Step up in trip promises to suit but he has something to find in this contest.
City Of Gold
With cheekpieces applied, left debut form well behind when second of 8 in maiden at this course (7f) 6 weeks ago, the winner third in a York Group 3 next time. Now switches to blinkers and helps to give his leading trainer a strong hand in the race.
Lamar River (IRE)
Didn't offer much promise in a pair of maidens earlier in the year, last of 5 at Dundalk (5f) on his second outing in March. Up in trip but faces a tough ask after 5 months off.
Leadlight (IRE)
Made the frame in auction race at Leopardstown first time up, before poorly drawn when mid-field in a Glorious Goodwood maiden. Unable to land the odds fitted with cheekpieces when second of 6 in claiming maiden at Navan (1m) 12 days ago, though he could still be in the mix here.
Noble Exhibit (IRE)
Shaped very well on debut when keeping on for third in 16-runner maiden at the Curragh (7f) 17 days ago, the race won by an exciting prospect. Bred to be suited by this longer trip and could be ready to open his account.
