Winless since October 2023 but turned in his best effort of the season in finding just one too strong in 8.6f handicap here in July. Likely to have gone close with a clear run over C&D 4 days later and fancied to gain compensation.
Merisi Diamond (IRE)
Essentially struggled in a light 2025 campaign but confirmed return to form to land a first victory for current yard in 17-runner event at the Curragh (7f) in April, getting first run. Resumed from a summer break still in decent heart when fifth at Roscommon last week and remains of interest.
Loingseoir (IRE)
Hold-up type who was unlucky not to finish closer when 2 lengths third of 17 in handicap at the Festival here (8.5f) 6 weeks ago. Must enter calculations.
Rhythm King (IRE)
C&D winner who shaped well on return at this venue (8.5f) in July. Disappointed over longer trip 2 days later but could bounce back now returning to a more suitable trip.
Banshof (IRE)
Showed some promise on the first 2 of 3 starts in maidens and may do better now handicapping after a break.
Mytimetoshine (IRE)
Fair form when third of 15 in a C&D maiden in October but that was a standout effort in a handful of starts last year. Makes handicap debut after 9-month absence.
Alex Belardo (IRE)
Responded well to a switch of headgear when second at Wolverhampton (8.6f) in June and confirmed himself as good as ever when going one better at Down Royal (7f) next time, edging ahead close home. Found run of good form coming to a halt dropped to claiming company at Bellewstown, though.

Sixteen runs since last win in 2023 but stepped up on his reappearance when fifth of 13 in handicap at Limerick (1m, heavy) in June, never nearer.
Imperial Dream (IRE)
Merely extended long losing run when down the field in 7f handicap at Leopardstown (good to firm, 18/1) 33 days ago. Easy enough to look elsewhere.
Bang Po (IRE)
Ran one of this season's better races when fifth of 21 in handicap at Navan (1¼m, good) 3 days ago, though that is hardly saying much. Others more persuasive, especially from 9 lb out of the weights.
Draiocht (IRE)
Ran creditably when in the frame on his first 2 starts of the year but failed to impress with his attitude when sixth of 15 in handicap at Bellewstown (1m, good to soft) 14 days ago, hanging left. 9 lb out of the weights and one to treat with caution.
Romantic War (IRE)
Long-standing maiden who is of no account.
