None of these are particularly convincing but EARNEST BELIEF stayed well on the level so this trip may well unlock a bit more on the back of a breathing operation. Datstheholyallofit and Way Maker are the viable threats.

Way Maker (IRE)
Dual bumper scorer who ran to a fair level on second hurdles start when runner-up in a Southwell maiden in June. Let down by his jumping since but this isn't a deep race and slightly longer trip will suit.
Earnest Belief (IRE)
A fair maiden on Flat for John & Thady Gosden. Hit the frame all 5 starts over hurdles at up to 17f and now steps up markedly in trip on the back of a breathing operation.
Datstheholyallofit (IRE)
Progressive form in bumpers, getting off the mark at Kelso in May. Made up a lot of ground late in the day when second in novice at Worcester on hurdles bow but fluffed her lines when presented with what looked a great opportunity over 2½m here 12 days ago.
Ocean Rose (IRE)
Crystal Ocean mare who didn't show a great deal in bumpers this summer but is at least bred to be suited by this step up in distance now hurdling.
