Timeform View

DONALD is yet to register a victory but signalled he is ready to strike when a very good recent runner-up at Newcastle so gets the vote. Fellow maiden Zous Juice is feared most on the back of a resurgent second here, while in-form duo Dream Forever and Little Beck Annie also need factoring into this open handicap.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Wee Dresser has traded at 50% or less of Betfair SP twice on its last 5 starts: Bay Breeze has traded at 50% or less of Betfair SP twice on its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

Velvet Skies (IRE)
Fair 6f/7f winner in Ireland who made a bright start for new yard when runner-up at Wolverhampton (7f) in July. Well held at Ayr and back at Wolverhampton since, though, so has a bit to prove now in a refitted visor.
Donald
Remains winless but right back on track of late and posted a very good second in 6f handicap at Newcastle 20 days ago. Weighted to go one better here.
Bay Breeze
It's now 13 runs since he scored over C&D and he was well below his best when sixth of 9 in handicap at Thirsk (6f, good) last time. Others appeal more.
Run This Way
Landed 6f handicaps at Redcar and Thirsk in May. In the frame in 3 outings since, off 12 weeks before third of 5 in handicap at Catterick (6f, good to firm) 2 weeks ago. Not out of things.
Fan Mail
Thirteen runs since his last win in 2025 and he came in last of 9 in handicap at Southwell (6f) 34 days ago. Visor replaces usual cheekpieces with work to do.
Zous Juice (IRE)
Remains winless but posted his best effort under a switch to front-running tactics with second of 10 in handicap here (7f, good to soft) 3 weeks ago. Not taken lightly nudged up 2 lb.
Little Beck Annie
Cheekpieces fitted for the first time when gaining a breakthrough success over C&D in June. Not discredited when fifth in a pair of 6f handicaps at Newcastle since. Ought to be thereabouts again.
Wee Dresser
Modest maiden who came in last of 8 in handicap at Ayr (6f, firm) in July. Cheekpieces go on for the first time now with plenty more required.
Dream Forever (IRE)
Bounced back to form in first-time blinkers when C&D winner in August and backed it up with a good second of 7 in handicap at Newcastle (6f) 6 days ago. Must enter calculations in retained headgear.
Summerstorms Dream (IRE)
Is 0-14 and not easy to catch right either, only eleventh of 13 in handicap at Hamilton (6f, good to soft) a week ago. Hard to warm to.
Runninman (IRE)
Poor maiden on balance. Tongue tied for the first time when a respectable fifth of 13 in classified event at Catterick (7f, good to firm) 2 weeks ago. More is needed back in handicap company.
