Timeform View

VON TROTTER did well to finish runner-up at Chepstow last time given he took a strong hold and is fancied to quickly resume winning ways off just a 1 lb higher mark here. One Night Thunder took this 12 months ago and is feared most having slipped to an attractive mark, while Sandy Craic, They All Know Me and Only Dream Big all need considering too in this competitive handicap.

Timeform Comments

Monsieur Kodi (IRE)
Won over 7f at Lingfield in February and back to form when in the frame in 6f handicaps at Wolverhampton and Southwell in July. Needs considering.
They All Know Me
Gained a first win over C&D in May. Back on track with fourth of 10 in handicap at Hamilton (6f, good) 19 days ago, never nearer. Well in the mix eased 1 lb.
Runninsonofagun (IRE)
Doubled his tally this season in 11-runner handicap at Musselburgh (9f, good to firm) 16 days ago, making all and just holding on. This consistent sort can go well again back down in trip.
One Night Thunder
Dual C&D winner last September (including in this event) but he's yet to hit top form this season, only fifth of 8 in handicap at Beverley (7f, heavy) 11 days ago. Still can't be ruled out back here off a handy-looking mark, though.
The Gay Blade
Is enjoying a fine season (dual C&D winner) and bagged a sixth success at Ayr in June. Rare poor effort when tenth of 11 in handicap returned to Ayr (7f, good to firm) in July but no surprise to see him bounce back after a break.
Leopards Rock
Fair form when placed on his first 3 runs and also with fifth of 8 on handicap debut at Redcar (1¼m, good) in July. Not out of things reverted in trip off a 2 lb lower mark.
Sandy Craic (IRE)
Showed a likeable attitude when opening her account over C&D in June and has continued in good heart since, not getting the clearest of passages when third of 6 at Haydock (1m) last month. Ought to be in the shake-up again.
Albeseeingyer
On a losing run but this C&D winner arrives in good nick, third of 7 in handicap at Newmarket (7f, good to firm) last month. In the picture once more.
Von Trotter
Got off the mark at Doncaster (7f) in August and backed it up with a very good second of 7 in handicap at Chepstow (7f, good) 22 days ago, especially as he went freely. Can go very well again nudged up 1 lb.
Circle Of Trust (IRE)
Gained a breakthrough victory at Ayr (7f) in June but only tenth of 12 in handicap there (7f, good to firm) 32 days ago. Bounce back is required.
Only Dream Big
Front-runner gained back-to-back wins at Redcar (7f) and Musselburgh (1m) in June. Posted a good second of 10 in handicap at Haydock (7f, heavy) 5 days ago. Can make her presence felt again.
