PHANTOM SHADOW failed to fire last time but might be worth another chance to confirm the improvement he showed when winning comfortably on his stable debut. Fellow 3-y-o Talitha Rouge ran well for second at Ripon last time and heads the dangers along with Chesneys Charm and Bay Dream Believer.

Won maiden at Clairefontaine in August for David Menuisier but offered little in 3 Flat starts for current yard over the winter. Tongue tied, beaten when falling 3 out in a handicap hurdle at Aintree when last seen in May. Could only consider if backed.
Chesneys Charm
Has a reduced mark to work with and better signs at the second time of asking for current yard when third of 8 in handicap over C&D (good) 18 days ago. Claims if he can build on that.
Bay Dream Believer (IRE)
Scored at Pontefract (1¼m) in June and Nottingham (8.3f) in July. Good ½-length third of 9 to Woodleigh in C&D handicap (good) 18 days ago. Respected.
Phantom Shadow (FR)
Made a winning start for new yard at Ayr (1¼m, firm) in July. Not in the same form when seventh back there since but likely still on a workable mark if back to that winning form.
Talitha Rouge (IRE)
Fair maiden. Creditable second of 4 in handicap at Ripon (1½m, good to firm) 25 days ago. Less exposed than most of these.

Fair form for Oliver Cole last year. Failed to beat a rival on first 2 outings for this yard but took a step back in the right direction when 2¾ lengths sixth of 9 to Woodleigh over C&D (good) 18 days ago.
Woodleigh (IRE)
Third C&D success when seeing off 8 rivals under Oisin McSweeney last month. Not in the same form in an amateur rider race at Ripon since but dangerous to rule out back here.
Port Darwin (IRE)
Opened account for the season minus any headgear at Hamilton (9f) in June and added to his tally at Brighton (1¼m, good) last month. Respectable fourth of 5 at Newmarket (1¼m, good to firm) since.
Lightning Galaxy (IRE)
