Timeform View

PLAY ME already has a couple of course victories to his name and promises to be suited by the return to this longer trip. He is the pick in an open-looking finale. OJ Lifestyle and Mr Ubiquitous should also go well.

Timeform Comments

Oj Lifestyle (IRE)
Bagged a fourth victory at Brighton in June and back to that sort of form when creditable length third of 8 to Tronido in handicap over C&D (good, 9/2) 10 days ago. Shortlisted.
Mr Ubiquitous
Made winning return at Kempton in March and posted best effort since when creditable fourth of 8 in handicap at Newmarket (1m, good to firm, 12/1) 27 days ago. Claims if building on that.
I Am Me (IRE)
Capitalised on the drop in grade when scoring at Kempton in February but lightly raced and nowhere near that form since.
Tronido
Enterprisingly ridden when making all in 8-runner handicap over C&D (good) 10 days ago. 5 lb penalty to carry now and circumstances unlikely to be as favourable.
Marsh Benham (IRE)
Temperamental sort who got back on scoreboard at Sandown (1m) in July. Not in same form either start since and holds no secrets from the handicapper.
Post Rider
Well backed when winning a 1m Newmarket handicap last autumn but her form has been in-and-out since. Ran creditably when third at Sandown latest but percentage call is to look elsewhere.
Play Me
Won at Brighton in June and returned to form when scoring at this course (7f) last month. Not in quite same form here since but he remains feasibly treated and the return to this longer trip looks a good move.
Redredrobin
Course winner who returned to form from out of the blue when runner-up at Brighton (7.4f) last month. Hasn't built on that, however, and makes limited appeal.
Dandy Khan (IRE)
Better on all-weather than turf, winning twice at Lingfield earlier in the year and finishing third there on last 2 starts. Well held at Sandown latest and finds herself in a stronger contest now.
