Exciting prospect MUSICAL TIMES looks more than ready for this step up in class, and she's fancied to maintain her unbeaten start. Eabha has to enter calculations following an excellent second in the Prestige last time, with Scommessa Sicura, Sea of Rain and Ballyskeagh all entitled to be thereabouts.

Timeform Comments

Ballyskeagh (IRE)
Progressive Gleneagles filly who looked unlucky not to follow up her Leopardstown maiden win in Group 3 company at the Curragh (1m) last time. Open to further improvement, especially if the forecast strong pace materialises (will stay further than 1m).
Beguiled
Shaped best of the newcomers when close third in a strong Glorious Goodwood maiden. Readily landed the odds in a less well-contested affair at Newmarket (7f) subsequently. Has something to find with the best of these, however, the step up to 1m is likely to bring about improvement.
Eabha (IRE)
Epsom maiden/Newmarket nursery winner (good to firm) earlier this summer. Ran a cracker when 1¼ lengths second in a Group 3 Prestige chock-full of potential at Goodwood (7f, soft) last time. That form could put her right in the mix, and she's likely to stay this longer trip.
Martinet (IRE)
Well-bred, improving daughter of Frankel. Made all in 7f Thirsk novice prior to being found wanting for pace when 5 lengths third in Sweet Solera Stakes at Newmarket (7f) latest. Open to improvement over the extra furlong, though she may well come into her own over even further.
Musical Times (IRE)
From a smart family. Looked a good prospect when edging out more experienced Scommessa Sicura on debut at Newmarket, the pair well clear of a subsequent winner in third. Since eased to victory at Yarmouth and is open to significant improvement over 1m here. Leading claims to make it a hat-trick.
Scommessa Sicura (IRE)
Strong form when close second to Musical Times before seeing off Tall Trees to make it fourth time lucky in Newmarket maiden. Only worn down by an unbeaten Godolphin colt in listed race at Salisbury (1m) latest, and she's respected back in fillies only company.
Sea Of Rain (IRE)
Forward-going type who gained a deserved first success at Leopardstown (7f) in July. Made it 2 wins from 3 in determined fashion when seeing off Ballyskeagh in the Group 3 Flame of Tara last time. Looks the type to put up another good show, for all this a stronger race.
Speckles (IRE)
No Nay Never filly out of an Irish Oaks winner. Ran as well as could be expected when 3 lengths fifth behind Sea Of Rain at the Curragh (1m) 12 days ago. She's in the right hands to keep progressing, however, this requires significantly more.
Tall Trees
Only 1 length behind Scommessa Sicura before finishing third in a Sandown listed event (7f) later in July. Didn't need to improve to get off the mark over the same C&D subsequently. This step into Group 2 company is probably a bridge too far, though.
Thuritha
From a family her yard know well. Improved again to make it third time lucky at Lingfield (1m) 2 weeks ago, value for more than the ½-length winning margin. Back on turf for the first time since her debut and probably falls short in her bid for black type.
Tie A Navyribbon
Promising third on debut before finishing well held in the Sweet Solera. Got off the mark with sights lowered in Newmarket maiden (1m) latest, but she again looks up against it on return to Group company.
