LET'S GO HUGO has benefited from the refitting of cheekpieces, only narrowly denied at Newcastle in his hat-trick bid last week, so gets the vote to add to his tally. The Fixer has gone close when making the frame on his last 2 outings and could be the main danger, ahead of Pure Passion.

Timeform Comments

Let's Go Hugo (IRE)
Back in cheekpieces, opened account for the year in classified stakes at Wolverhampton last month and followed up in similar event here. Headed only close home in handicap at Newcastle last time, so can make another bold bid in current form.
My Mate Kev
Successful at Newmarket (6f) last spring but went the wrong way later in the campaign. After 3 months off, took a step back in the right direction this season when runner-up here in August, though wasn't in the same form at Yarmouth 11 days ago. Drops back in trip.
Pure Passion
Off the mark at the fourth attempt in classified event at Yarmouth early last month. Not seen to best effect next time, before landing the odds in 6-runner handicap over this C&D 24 days ago. Can make her presence felt.
Little Jaybee
Has been heading back in the right direction in 3 starts for current yard, second of 6 in handicap at Ffos Las 13 days ago. On a handy mark as she returns to all-weather.
The Fixer (IRE)
Ended a long losing run at Wolverhampton in June and has made the frame last 2 starts, again beaten less than a length when third of 8 at the same course 9 days ago. Could be thereabouts once more.
Big Bard
Made a winning start to the year at Kempton (6f) in January but hasn't gone on from that effort, returning from a further 10 weeks off when sixth of 9 at this course 23 days ago.
A Lott Of Kane (IRE)
Following a breathing operation, bounced back to winning ways in a Wolverhampton handicap (5f) in July. Followed up in 10-runner classified event at this course (6f) 9 days later and he can give another good account.
Mart
Isn't long with current yard and with blinkers added, ran well when second of 5 in handicap over this C&D 9 days ago. His losing streak continues to mount up, though.
Battle Point (IRE)
Ran better than for a while when close fifth of 9 in classified event at Bath in July. However, he hasn't been in the same form in 2 subsequent outings, 4½ lengths sixth of 9 to Let's Go Hugo over this C&D 16 days ago.
