Blue Anthem
A 3-time winner for George Boughey in 2025. Made more impact than of late when well-backed third in first-time visor at Brighton (6f) latest, beaten 1½ lengths. Drops into claiming company for the first time, and he isn't discounted if building on last time.
Devil's Angel
Well-backed when 10 lengths fourth in this corresponding event 12 months ago. Offered little on his comeback run at Cork in mid-June, for all that may have been a pipe-opener.
Dinamine (IRE)
Hasn't kicked on from his success in first-time cheekpieces at Naas (1m) in July. Drops in trip having been too keen for his own good behind Land of The Giants in handicap at Navan (1m, good) 8 days ago. Could be staying on for the places.
Distillate
Lost her way since a close second at Dundalk in February. Needs a market check dropped into a claimer with good-value apprentice back aboard, though.
Goldrush Kid (IRE)
Fair handicapper whose sole success came at the Curragh (1m, soft) last spring. Hasn't been seen since bursting a blood vessel in April. Has gone well fresh, though, and is worth noting for support on rare try over sprint trip.
Land Of The Giants (IRE)
Capitalised on reduced mark when doubling his tally in a 0-60 at Navan (1m) latest. Shows enough speed to be considered on first try sprinting, especially with yard enjoying a good spell.
She's Ideal (IRE)
Landed a double when making a winning start for current connections at Gowran (1m) last month. Not in same form in better company at Gowran latest. Still relatively early days with the Adrian McGuinness yard, and she has leading claims at the weights back in a claimer.
Spirit Of Eagles (IRE)
Runner-up at this meeting in 2024. Turned in best effort for some time when landing optional claimer at Fairyhouse (6f) in May. Never involved in 7f claimer on final start for Thomas Dowling at Gowran (7f). Booking of Colin Keane catches the eye on first start for capable new yard.
Thompson Gunner (IRE)
Below his best since winning a 0-60 at Dundalk (1¼m) in January. Found things happening a little too quickly when beaten 6¾ lengths at Navan latest (1m). Drop to sprinting likely to inconvenience him more than a few others in here.
Heart Of Eternity (IRE)
Made the frame all 3 starts for Charlie Appleby. Yet to fire for her current yard. Only considered if market strongly suggests a revival on first start in claiming company. RESERVE. Engaged Cork 6.15 Wednesday.
Cordouan (FR)
Latest success came in claiming company over 2 years ago. Drops back down in grade having looked out of sorts recently. RESERVE.
