MOVIN AND GROOVIN is taken to turn around last month's Dundalk form with Reponse Finale (second choice) and Roman Harry, a former C&D winner. Colin Keane's mount Lohengrin has also tasted success over C&D and is also respected having bounced back to form when third at Navan a fortnight ago.

Timeform Comments

Reponse Finale (IRE)
Revived since joining Gavin Cromwell, winning 2 of her 3 starts, latest a 14-runner handicap at Dundalk (1m) 26 days ago. Remains well treated on old form.
Brains (IRE)
Seventeen runs since last win in 2025. Respectable sixth of 14 in handicap at Leopardstown (7f, good to firm, 12/1) 21 days ago.
Marambo (IRE)
Lightly-raced maiden who has cut little ice in a trio of 1m handicaps so far this season.
Lohengrin
Belatedly off the mark in C&D maiden last September. Has largely struggled in handicaps since but took a step back in the right direction when third of 13 at Navan (1m, good) 14 days ago. Player back at Laytown under Colin Keane.
I'm Spartacus (IRE)
Multiple polytrack winner who justified support when gaining a belated first turf success at Fairyhouse (6f) in June. Has been well below that form since, including never a threat over 6f at the Curragh 12 days ago. Back up in trip for last year's winning yard.
Roman Harry (IRE)
Modest 2-4 strike-rate but one of the wins came over C&D and he arrives on the back of a good ¾-length second of 14 to Reponse Finale in handicap at Dundalk (1m) 26 days ago.
Movin And Groovin (IRE)
Made winning debut for this yard (formerly trained by Ado McGuinness) after more than a year off in a 14-runner handicap at Dundalk in July. Creditable 2½ lengths third of 14 to Reponse Finale in handicap (10/1) at Dundalk (1m) 26 days ago. Shortlist material.
Chavajod
Twelve runs since last win in 2025. 50/1, 9¼ lengths seventh of 15 to Reponse Finale in handicap at Gowran (9.5f, good to firm) 29 days ago. Down in trip.
Saith Seren
Still looking for first success but she was a creditable third of 13 in handicap at Limerick (1m, heavy) 83 days ago.
Barretstown (IRE)
Recent efforts poor but potentially well treated with Billy Lee, who has been on board for 4 of his 5 wins, back in the saddle.
Amanirenas (IRE)
Won over 6f here last year but well held in just 2 outings since. Not obviously in the form to repeat last year's success. RESERVE.
Perfect Judgement (IRE)
Eighteen runs since last win in 2025. Creditable fifth of 16 in handicap at Navan (1m, good, 8/1) 8 days ago, needing stronger gallop. RESERVE.
Medieval Night (IRE)
Remains a maiden after 17 Flat runs. 10/1, creditable fifth of 16 in handicap at Gowran (1m, good to soft) 9 days ago. RESERVE.
