IL SILENZIO has looked a much-improved performer since being sent chasing and did well to overcome a troubled passage when scoring at Roscommon last month. A 7 lb rise doesn’t look excessive and, with more to come, he makes plenty of appeal. Set The Tone shaped well last time and remains well treated on his hurdles form, so rates the main danger, while the progressive Ladies Well is another to consider.

Lightly raced for age but has won 2 of his last 3 outings over fences, overcoming trouble in-running when scoring in 16-runner handicap chase (7/2) at Roscommon (25f, good to soft) at the beginning of last month. Up 7 lb but has more still to offer as a chaser.
Ladies Well (IRE)
Progressive chaser that has won handicaps at Killarney either side of a second at Roscommon last month, beating Cullenwaine by 4¼ lengths in 12-runner event on latest. An 8 lb rise for that win is largely offset by the booking of a useful 5 lb conditional. Respected.
Fr Gilligansvoyge
Veteran who has very much enjoyed an Indian summer, winning at Downpatrick, Tramore and Kilbeggan before producing a seasonal best when 3½ lengths second of 13 to Thewaybackhome at Wexford a fortnight ago. Should continue to give a good account.
Mistyburn (IRE)
Fortunate winner of Kilbeggan handicap hurdle in April but produced his best effort to date over fences when coming from a long way back to finish third of 18 in handicap chase at Galway (23f, good to soft) last month. Claims if backing that up but has struggled for consistency in the past.
Reve Inoui (IRE)
Point winner who took a step forward from chasing debut when 10¼ lengths fourth of 10 in 3¼m handicap chase at Down Royal in April, but failed to back that up at Punchestown last time.
Las Brisas Boy (IRE)
Modest handicap hurdler who arrives on the back of 2 good runner-up efforts in that sphere, chasing home Esticky End in 14-runner event at Wexford on latest 35 days ago. Bred to make a chaser so any support will be well worth noting now switched to fences.
Zolpharine (IRE)
Successful over fences at Limerick and hurdles at Tramore in May. Poor efforts over fences on last 2 starts, though.
Hit The Frame
Wexford chase winner last season but has largely struggled since, including when bidding to follow up in same event there last time (well backed).
The Little Yank (IRE)
Veteran who ended a losing run at Clonmel (handicap hurdle) last season. Back to form after a 3-month break with a good third at Kilbeggan but has posed no danger in any of his 3 starts since, including in this sphere.
Tomas O Maille (IRE)
Confirmed the impression he's coming back into form when 3 lengths third of 14 to Boola Times at Wexford in August. Boasts a good record at this course and on a handy mark if able to continue his revival now back over fences.
Not So Serious (IRE)
Caused a surprise in first-time headgear when opening his account in a 15-runner handicap hurdle at this course in July, but jumping has held him back on both starts over fences to date.
Kilashee (IRE)
Scored over hurdles at Galway last summer but out of sorts since under both codes, pulled up on both starts this season. Plenty to prove at present.
Swing Time (IRE)
Poor maiden hurdler who made no impact sent on chasing on return from 9-month absence.
Set The Tone (IRE)
Rejuvenated since undergoing a breathing operation. Confirmed the promise of her previous outing when landing 3m Wexford handicap hurdle in July. Took a step forward on previous chasing starts when 4¾ lengths second of 13 to Fr Gilligansvoyge at Tramore last time. Remains on a good mark.
