Timeform View

CASCADE HALL ran really well up against a thriving rival just last week and looks well in racing from effectively a 1 lb lower mark so he's taken to resume winning ways back up to a trip that suits. The 3-y-o Sir Griflet could prove best of the rest up against much more exposed rivals, while the veteran Bollin Neil returned in good heart recently and should continue in form.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Cascade Hall traded at 10% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP on 2 of its last 5 starts: Spooky Wooky traded at 10% or less of Betfair SP, 25% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP on 3 of its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

Alibey
Off the mark in a maiden hurdle at Fakenham in May having been second on her previous 3 starts, though regularly races freely. Back from a break and will need to settle to last out upped to 2m on just her second outing on the Flat for current yard.
Free World
Made all when scoring by 7 lengths at Catterick 38 days ago when dropped in grade but wasn't in quite the same form under penalty at Newmarket next time. Now 3 lb higher in the weights so needs to find more progress from somewhere.
Imperial Trooper (IRE)
Provided some encouragement when third of 7 over hurdles at Worcester in July but yet to win a handicap on the Flat and finished only eighth of 10 here over 1½m last time and now steps up markedly in trip.
Queen Roslyn
Career best when second of 13 at York over this trip in July with a first-time tongue strap but disappointed when last of 5 at Newmarket over 1¾m 27 days ago, reverting to front-running tactics. Could bounce back returned to this trip and ridden with more restraint.
Cascade Hall (IRE)
Consistent through the summer with placed efforts at Ayr and Musselburgh prior to very good second of 8 to subsequent winner at Haydock on heavy going over 1¾m 7 days ago. Turned out quickly and leading claims back up to 2m.
Bulldog Spirit (IRE)
Not won for over a year and struggled this season, continuing to fall in the weights without looking like taking advantage. Back up in trip and hard to fancy on recent evidence.
Spooky Wooky (IRE)
In frame 3 of 5 starts since sent handicapping, stepping up on reappearance run when finishing fourth of 9 over 1¾m at Redcar in first-time visor and tongue strap last month, keeping on. Should prove suited by this return to 2m and can be a threat if stall 12 doesn't inconvenience.
Bollin Neil
Prolific Catterick winner who returned from 7 months off with good second of 6 at Ripon over this trip 10 days ago, though was flattered by proximity to the eased-down winner (already won twice since). At the veteran stage now but entitled to come on for that run and stays this trip well.
Havachoc
Yet to win on turf but placed a couple of times this year. Last of 7 in a handicap over 1¾m at Haydock in August wasn't encouraging, though, not settling in front and wandering as he weakened. First-time tongue strap now applied.
Beaune (IRE)
One of his better races when third of 7 at Lingfield over 2m on all-weather 24 days ago but didn't seem to fully see out the trip that day so may prove vulnerable late on.
Razzo Italiano (IRE)
Three-time hurdle winner but modest at best on the Flat and third of 7 in a weak handicap at Haydock over 2m when last seen 477 days ago needs plenty of improving on.
Corsican Caper (IRE)
Won over hurdles at Uttoxeter in May before third of 8 in a handicap at Bath in June over 17f back on the Flat. Returns to Chester after 90 days off in a race he won in 2024 but looks up against it.
Sir Griflet (IRE)
Has returned to form in his last 2 starts over 2m at Lingfield on all-weather, including when fourth behind 2 next-time-out winners in August. Returns to turf now and is well worth considering as the sole 3-y-o in the field.
