DARKNESS FALLS looked a smart one when running away with a Curragh maiden 2 weeks ago, and he's fancied to enhance Aidan O'Brien's outstanding record in this event. Green Dreamer is feared most on the back of his third behind top prospect Giant Sequoia. Nola Soul needs considering following his close fourth in the same race, while Pikachu makes each-way appeal at the forecast prices.

Created a good impression when making a winning start at the Curragh (7f) in early-June. Still looked rough around the edges when beaten 4½ lengths in Group 3 Tyros at Leopardstown (placed fourth for interference) last time. Type to improve for the longer trip, but Ryan Moore now looks elsewhere.
Darkness Falls (IRE)
Camelot colt who confirmed his debut promise in spades when powering clear to land a 1m Curragh maiden (good to soft) 2 weeks ago. Looks a smart prospect and with the longer trip likely to suit, he may well give Aidan O'Brien yet another victory in this race.
Green Dreamer (IRE)
Readily bettered a couple of next-time-out winners to get off the mark in a 1m course maiden in late-July. Improved again when 1¼ lengths third behind an exciting prospect in Group 2 Futurity at the Curragh subsequently. Leading form claims and remains capable of better stepping up in trip.
Jesus Green (IRE)
100,000 gns Ghaiyyath colt. Plenty to like about his debut effort when a ½-length second in 1m course maiden, quickening to the front in pretty taking fashion and only beaten by another really promising type. Open to improvement, though no easy task pitched into a Group 1 second time up.
Nola Soul (USA)
Rangy son of Justify. Made it 2-2 despite doing plenty wrong in the Chesham at Royal Ascot (mixed messages about strength of the form). Closely matched with Green Dreamer on his subsequent fourth in the Futurity, and this longer trip could unlock further improvement if he settles better.
Pikachu
450,000 gns Frankel colt who didn't confirm his improved Superlative form at the first time of asking, beaten 3½ lengths in the Group 2 Vintage at Goodwood. Has since converted a penalty kick at Hamilton (1m), and he could outrun his odds stepping up in trip (dam won a Group 2 over this distance).
Quest For Stars (FR)
Expensive Sea The Stars colt who followed up his novice wins at Doncaster/Sandown in determined fashion in a Salisbury listed event (1m), finding plenty for pressure to see off Scommessa Sicura (runs 3.35 Doncaster Thursday). Longer trip will suit and he's certainly respected in his bid to go 4-4.
Shakespeare
Dubawi colt out of Lady Bowthorpe (won Group 1 over 1¼m). Chased home Green Dreamer here in July and still far from the finished article when making it third time lucky in a Curragh maiden (1m). Will improve again up in trip, but it's hard to be confident he'll reverse form with Green Dreamer.
Victory Speech (IRE)
Confirmed the promise of his debut second when going one better at Galway (1m) last month, kept up to his work to see off the rallying Zarak Pasha by ¾ length. Another open to improvement, but he's a little way off the standard setters in a hot race here.
Zarak Pasha (IRE)
Shaped well behind a more-clued-up Victory Speech before opening his account in a maiden at the Curragh (9f) last time. He's in the right hands to progress, though may just find this marked step up in class beyond him at this stage.
