SUN GODDESS is proving to be one of the leading 2-y-os of the season so she's hard to oppose with this extra 1f sure to suit. Green Empress can follow the selection home once again.

Timeform Comments

Alpha (IRE)
Sea The Stars filly out of multiple Group 1 winner Alpha Centauri. Impressive in C&D maiden before following up in Group 3 at Leopardstown despite doing plenty wrong. However, she was ¾-length third to Green Empress in Group 2 over C&D 3 weeks ago despite the winner not being seen to best effect.
Ballinea Star (IRE)
Made the most of her experience when opening her account in maiden at Cork and took another step forward when making all in Group 3 here (6.5f), shaping as if 7f will suit. However, that was a weak race for the grade so she's got plenty to find at this level.
Controlla (IRE)
Night of Thunder filly who ran a remarkable race pitched straight into pattern company when neck second to subsequent Queen Mary winner Victorious in Group 3 at Naas. However, pulled too hard next 2 starts so this extra 1f must be a concern.
Dancing Destiny (IRE)
Added to her Roscommon debut success when finding plenty in a Naas listed race. Much improved when second in pattern events next 2 starts, including when splitting Green Empress and Alpha in Group 2 over C&D 3 weeks ago, though once again shaping as if a return to 1m will suit.
Green Empress (IRE)
Got a lot closer to Sun Goddess when ¾-length second in Group 2 over 6f here in June and she did very well to win a Group 2 over C&D 3 weeks ago, leading close home having met trouble. Rates the main threat to Sun Goddess once again.
Ibelieveicanfly (USA)
Frankel filly who got off the mark at the fourth attempt when seeing off 13 rivals over C&D last month. Far from discredited under a considerate ride when fourth behind 3 of these in Debutante Stakes here since. Engaged 13.35 Leopardstown Saturday.
Sun Goddess (IRE)
Caught only in the final 100 yds in the Albany at Royal Ascot before landing a Group 2 here (6f) a week later. Confirmed herself as one of the leading juveniles when gaining Group 1 success in the Phoenix Stakes back here (6f) before outclassing her rivals in sales race at York. Hard to beat.
