ENCORE had no answers to a former Ed Walker stablemate at Windsor 3 weeks ago but expected to step forward from that run, she may account for the standard-setting filly Forbidden Colours representing that aforementioned trainer. Mystic Veil will surely know more this time and she can elevate her form.

Timeform Comments

Encore (FR)
Good pedigree and showed some promise when fifth of 9 on C&D debut for Ed Walker last autumn. Off for 11 months and failed to meet expectations behind a former stablemate starting out for William Haggas 3 weeks ago but she can step up on that.
Missmisfortune (IRE)
85,000 2-y-o, second foal, half-sister to 1¾m winner (stays 2m) Slowdownbarney. Dam, 1½m winner, half-sister to smart 6f/7f winner Unequal Love out of useful 1m/8.3f winner Heavenly Dawn. Hood fitted for debut.
Astronette (IRE)
15,000 gns yearling, Starman filly. Dam, 2-y-o 7f winner, half-sister to useful 1m/8.4f winner Stay de Night.
Forbidden Colours (IRE)
750,000 gns purchase who wasn't seen to best effect both starts in handicaps this summer, unable to fully open up at Ayr (7f) latest. Blinkers may sharpen her up trying 6f for the first time and she sets the standard.
March Of Time (IRE)
Has twice failed to build on her debut Windsor third, hooded when fifth of 8 in maiden at Nottingham (6f, good to firm) in July. Has left Clive Cox but joined another very capable stable. All-weather debut.
Mystic Veil
£130,000 yearling, Showcasing filly. Half-sister to smart 5f-6f winner No Half Measures and useful 5f/6f winner Trilby. Dam lightly-raced half-sister to dam of very smart sprinter Kachy. Too green to show much on recent Ffos Las debut.
Pink Pyjamas (IRE)
€22,000 yearling, Mohaather filly. Half-sister to several winners, including 2-y-o 6f winner Ingleby Ivy and 7.4f winner Shoot The Moon. Limited short-term promise on July's debut at Wolverhampton and has since left Jack Morland.
Spareapenny
Looks limited after 2 runs over 7f.
Tilsworth Boe
First foal of a 5f winner. Not a likely type on debut.
